Scott studied her innocent and angelic face, long light blonde hair, emerald green eyes and shy smile.
[It was everything he loved about her, seeing her angelic face staring up at him with those bright emerald eyes, that sweet and precious smile, her long and soft light blonde hair, everything about her was perfect. This girl was truly an angel, and she was his angel once more. Winter was back in his arms, she was his again, and nothing could ever separate them again.]
"You really are the most beautiful girl in the world, you know that right?" [His voice was laced with affection and love, and if he was being honest, he was getting a little teary eyed.]
My cheeks went redder shyly at his words. "T-thank you, Scott."
"Just telling the truth." [His words were soft and gentle as his hands continued to run through her light blonde hair, it felt so soft and silky. He kissed her forehead warmly as he looked into her eyes once more.]
"Don't ever forget, I love you, and I won't ever leave you and take you for granted again." [He could just feel his love for her growing tenfold as he spoke those words, his one and only priority was to never take her for granted again, and he would make sure that that would never happen.]
I nodded shyly at his words.
[His smile grew bright as he laid there staring up at her. Everything around him was warm and cozy, and the warmth of Winter's body pressed against his was like a warm blanket on a crisp winter night. His eyes looked deep into her eyes as he spoke with firm intention.]
"Promise me something."
I looked curiously at his words.
"Promise me that you'll always remember how much I love you. No matter what, my love for you will never change. I made a mistake and cheated on you before, I should have never listened to my friends. I was an idiot, but I'm not that idiot anymore. Never ever for one moment think that I don't love you. I won't ever hurt you or take you for granted again, but no matter what happens, no matter who tries to get in between us, never doubt that I'll be here for you, okay?"
"Yes, I promise." I smiled shyly at him.
[His smile was filled with genuine contentment as he pulled her into an even tighter hug. Knowing that he had her trust once more and knowing that she would never doubt his love and loyalty ever again made his heart feel so warm. After all this time, after a year of pain and suffering and regret, he finally had her back.]
"Good, because I want you to know that I will stand by that promise, forever."
I nodded shyly at his words.
"And I want you to know one more thing." [He looked into her eyes as he spoke, his tone was so compassionate and so caring, the love he felt for her filled every part of him.]
"I will never let anyone or anything ever take you away from me again. You belong to me, and I belong to you. And no one or anything is ever going to change that."
"Yes, I believe you." I smiled shyly at him.
[Once more, his heart filled with love for her. She was truly the perfect girl for him, every single word he had said was coming from his heart and he would never let her go again.]
"That's good, cause I won't ever let you doubt it anymore." [He said softly, their bodies were still pressed tightly together and he was so thankful that he had her back in his life again. The warmth of her body and the warmth of the love he felt for her made him feel more alive than he had felt in a long time.]
