After few months,
Saṃhitā found herself a little joyful with the news about her brother's selection in his desired aviation firm on becoming their intern. The family wanted to celebrate their son's joyful moment and also Daksh had managed to convince them to cheer his still gloomy wife.
At the party
Saṃhitā was helping her mom to attend to the relatives and guest who had gathered in their home to congratulate the boy.
Daksh and his brother were busy with engaging the office guest and investing their conversation with the special dignitaries taking part in their celebrations.
"...Samy?!...be a help and put this in the front lawn area...hm?!...I have to rush over to the garden area..." as Dharani told her, Saṃhitā smiled at went to the front lawn area.

"...Arrey Bhai!...you are so backwards!!...nowadays children want to have live in relationships and you are still getting offended by your son going to stay abroad?!!...get mature...man!..." one of the male relatives words offended the elders, making Sridhar reply tauntingly.
"...Mhm?!...right!...no wonder you were so thrilled for your daughter being married off to that Christian boy...isn't it?"
The male relative suddenly quieten down when his family affair were flashed in front of the crowd, Sandeep smirked when he knew that Sridhar was right in his stand to not take any nonsense for their own children.
It was true that Sanjay would be required to stay away from the house. But that doesn't mean that his parents don't trust him with his life decisions.
In around this, Saṃhitā found herself slightly exhausted with the work. As was evident with her ongoing hospital schedules and late-night OT works.
"...Samy?...long time no see...baby?!" the voice made her bones shiver when the man whispered from behind her. The horrific incident flashed in front of her eyes.
'...those red eyes!...those horrible grip on my arms!...those horrible stench!...that pain!...that muffled cries!...everything!!...'
Her eyes betrayed her and went to have a glimpse of the dreaded man who had given her nightmares for the entirety of her life.
"...Go...Go...away..." her broken words only enticed the man who grabbed her shivering hands and whispered "...my...my...why?...my baby has grown so pretty!...hm...but honey...you hid from your Sridhar uncle for so long!...I need my lovely baby to sit on my lap for her sweet..." as he closed in with his wretched words, Saṃhitā ran off to find her saviour to console her.
