SUMMARY ——

Linda Howlett was living her life amongst the many earths in the universe. She would get up from a nightmare, stare at the X-Men poster on her wall, go to the bathroom and brush her teeth with beer, after that she left to go to the bar. It had been years since she was kicked out of the X-Men mostly because Charles found her to not be working for the team and just for herself — not to mention she wasn't there to help fight with them when mutant hunters showed up — this resulted in paparazzi following her and asking why she wasn't in the X-Men anymore, why she wasn't the Wolverine anymore. This then resulted in her arrest after punching one of the many paparazzi's noses — causing it to break. Linda was lucky enough for the pap to not file any sort of lawsuit against her but Linda knew that if the other X-Men saw that — she would be shamed more than she was. This changed something in Linda, she would wake up everyday wearing the Wolverine suit that Charles had gifted her — she remembered the first time she wore it she felt ridiculous, Scott always making comments about the outfit while Storm would defend Linda and Jean... well Linda secretly hoped she liked the outfit. Wearing the suit underneath her regular clothes made her feel like she had a secret identity — even though everyone knew her just from her hair and voice. So she would just drink, drink everyday knowing that she could've become something better — become an actual superhero and stayed as the Wolverine. It wasn't until one day a man appeared wearing a red suit and exclaiming "Female Wolverine! And you're even hotter than Hugh!"
