Chapter - 56

Recap: Avinash and Sitara discus about their feelings with Sumanth and Radha respectively.

A few days passed by and both Avinash and Sitara were casual around each other and never brought up the discussion of love or marriage. Sitara's morning sickness kick started and she decided to better stay in the washroom rather than running to and fro from the room. She started feeling difference in the food she craved. She felt tired and stayed in the room and Avinash turned up into the good boy friend and took care of her the whole time. He felt bad on seeing her suffer from the morning sickness and unable to eat her favourite foods. 

Just like any other day Sitara was curled up in the bed after puking her guts out in the morning. Avinash helped her clean and laid her on the bed before he walked into the kitchen. He gave orders to the chef to cook all the dishes a pregnant woman craves at this stage and called up the resident doctor to check on her every morning which annoyed her more than the morning sickness.

He entered the room carrying a tray and sat next to her.

Avinash: Tara, look I brought few dishes that you might like to eat. Come on mamma, you must be hungry and so does the baby.

Sitara sat leaning on the head board and looked into the tray. Avinash removed the lids of the casseroles and she saw a continental and Indian breakfast. She ate a few spoon from both and tried to relax from puking again.

Sitara: Ash, I want to take over the business at the earliest.

Avinash: I don't have a problem in that but will you be able to manage at this stage. I mean, the doctor has said that you might have these morning sickness for 2 or 3 more months so how about you wait and take over later. Taking over a business empire is not an easy job and that will drain your energy which is not good for you now. But if you still insist then I won't stop you but I will be accompanying you just to make sure you are doing fine. I can't be at peace while you are at office worried and stressed. I might not interfere if that is what you are worried about but let me be with you.

Sitara: Whatever but lets get this done and before the baby is born we shall apppoint some trustworthy people to handle in my absence so that I can focus on our baby.

Avinash smiled at her words and immediately informed Sumanth to arrange for the press release and to call the executives for a meeting the very next day.

Sitara: I will appoint Ram as my PA officially.

Avinash: Nooooooo, I will inform Sumanth to find a female to work for you. 

Sitara: My PA and I get to decide.

Avinash: Fine, I will fire Sumanth and he can work for you and I will appoint a female as my PA, may be someone beautiful too.

Sitara closed her eyes momentarily and Avinash knew he pressed the wrong button so he raised his hands surrendering immediately as she was high in mood swings recently which he got to experience personally.

Avinash: Ok, ok no problem. As you wish beautiful. I won't fire Sumanth.

Sitara decided to take a short walk in the sit out area and walked out of the room. Avinash changed into his swim shorts and decided to swim to be around her somehow.

End of the day there was a press release that Sitara, grand daughter of the founder of MARS groups will take over the business with immedate effect. There was a choas in the MARS groups as none was aware of Sitara's existence. Ram was appointed as Sitara's PA officially and he arrived at the head office with Sumanth and met the existing executives and conveyed the message about the impending meeting. Official mail was sent to every members to be present in the meeting. The personal belongings of Prathap was cleared from the room and it entirely was redecorated in the shortest span of time. All of Prathap's belongings were sent to Mini except for Sitara's photo which Sumanth handed over to Avinash personally.
