For those who do not know, Sarkism is derived from the Greek Launguage and is a religious/philosophical system that emcompasses multiple varieties of traditions and beliefs. Many of which are defied from the Spiritual practices based on the teaches to Grand Karcist Ion.
Highly secretive, the general public appears to have little to no direct knowledge of their existence, as they should. Some organizations are aware of them, such as the Global Occult Coalition and the Horizon Initiative, while the Church of the Broken God views them in apocalyptic terms, and of course the SCP Foundation and Chaos Insurgency.
The SCP Foundation divides known Sarkic cults into two distinct strands: Proto-Sarkic and Neo-Sarkic. Both of which are threats to the foundations existence. The Sarkic Cult is also filled with anamolies.
Proto-Sarkic cults tend to be found in insular communities throughout Eurasia's most isolated regions, its followers generally self-reliant, humble, and apprehensive towards outsiders. They embrace the modern world and can be somewhat tolerable to the other groups of interest. But, the Neo-Sarkic cults are usually cosmopolitan, publicly embracing modernity and showing no apparent qualms with technology, and highly aggresive to Foundation Staff.
But what is relevant is the both Sarkic Cults are highly against the world and reality that the Foudnation and UNGOC try to maintain, the Sarkic Cult will do any means necessary to undermine their authority whether it be raids or torture.
