The Chaos Insurgency

The Chaos Insurgency, better known by the Alias as CI or the Insurgency, is the Arch Nemesis of the SCP Foundation. It's origins start with a rocky start with their history. The first Insurgents were once a part of the Foundation, or a seperate branch of Mobile Task Force Alpha-1, the Red Right Hand. They were to carry out orders by the 05 that were questionably inhumane. However, out of knowhere in 1948, the Insurgents rioted against the Foundation, raiding multiple sites and stealing multiple SCP's. Although with a limited arsenal of anamolies, they do not hesitate to use their full potential unlike the Foundation. While they raided sites, they gained personnal from the Foundations ranks and as the years pass adopted the name the Chaos Insurgency and established a military structure. 

It is believed the  Insurgency came across a powerful anomaly only known as the Engine which could predict futenma and give them steps to follow as part of a bigger plan. The Insurgency's leader who could directly communicate with the Engine became known as the Engineer and went on to attack the Foundation in order to appease the Engine.

The O5 Council was stunned. The defection or even the slightest hint of disloyalty from Red Right Hand personnel had been unprecedented. The motives behind the Insurgency's betrayal remain unknown to the Foundation. All attempts to find, apprehend, or assassinate the defecting Insurgency operatives failed.

However, the full story is unknown, as it is possible that the Insurgency defected when it was foundaed in 1924 and fully betraying the Foundation via the raids in 1948. 

The Chaos Insurgenct Structure goes as follow:

Delta Command: The highest rank and is in charge of overseeing the activities of the lower ranks. The Engineer is the most important member of the command as they are in constant telepathic communication with the Engine. The Engineer is basically the Insurgency version of the 05 Council and Delta Command is the Insurgency version of the Administrator.

Gamma Command: Chaos Insurgency military commanders and researchers who oversee that orders from the Delta Command are carried out.

Beta: They are the Soldiers of the Insurgency and carry out the orders from the Gamma Class.

Alpha: Personnal recruited from the general public who have no knowledge of anomalies. Considered as expendable cannon fodder by the higher classes similar to the Foundations Class-D.

Military and R&D

Relations with other groups of interest are complicated except the Foundation. With the Foundation the Chaos Insurgency is extremely hostile towards as well as the UNGOC. The Chaos Insurgency had a friendly alliance with Serpants Hand and the Wanderer's Library who at first saw them as fellow wanderers who sought to help humanity. However, the Chaos Insurgencys goal was to use anomalies for their own personnal gain and also began to take advantage of the Wanderer's Library which saw to their expulsion and designated as an enemy of the Serpants Hand.

The Insurgency did have an alliance with Anti-foundation groups to raid and eliminate Foundation personnal sites. Thankfully repelled with the help of AMTF Nu-7 and SCP-4482. 

The Insurgency currently have an alliance with the Church of the Broken God and are enemies with the Three Moons Initiative when they used several instances of SCP-4922 to protect humanity.

The Insurgency currently utilizes the SCP-008 Zombie Plague as seen in Operation Camp Grenada and Site-17 Infection. As well as SCP-994, SCP-882, SCP-1041, SCP-1068, SCP-1275, SCP-1316, and more.

Failure to capture more SCP's include SCP-106 and SCP-939.

In the 2012 Containment Breach, the Chaos Insurgency utulized insiders to cause chaos within the Foundation by giving SCP-079 control of the Site and breaching SCP-173 and SCP-106, rezulting in multiple SCP's also breaching.
