“Kierre, congrats on winning the championship and MVP of this tournament, keep it up.” Sabi sa akin ni coach Andrei, malaki kasi role ko dito sa basketball team namin, as I'm the point guard of our school’s varsity team. A year before, coach Andrei begged me to join the team, malapit na lang luluhod na siya noon. The team was at stake last year’s season, due to seniors leaving the university, which had it all up on the freshmen. Coach Andrei saw my skills at basketball, and he was amazed when he saw me at P.E class. Coach was desperate that time, not sure why, but he was.
Happy for myself for winning the game and being MVP
But it’s not worth celebrating when you don’t enjoy the game.
Hi, I'm Kierre Mogan Lopez, one of the winning basketball players in the university, just not the happiest one in winning it.
I'm a sophomore and a consistent valedictorian at my university, Treston High Academy, one of the prestigious universities right now in the Philippines. I'm also part of the School’s organisation program, I am the Vice President. My success doesn't stay here on campus of course, I am a well known actor here in the country, I have been in four different movies and I have an ongoing series on a TV channel.
Now, I know what you are thinking, “Kierre, paano mo nagagawa lahat ng mga yan?” Simple answer, I make time for everything, I have certain schedules for this and that. It may seem like it can barely help me, but trust me, it is very useful for a busy schedule.
My family is very huge, we are a family of six. Now, let me introduce you to the fam members. We have the head of the family, my dad, Kaito Ren Lopez, my dad is half Japanese, so I guess that makes me too? My mom, Elaine Lopez, she’s full Filipino, but she stayed in Kyoto Japan for over 15 years. That's where my mom and my dad met. And then we have my Kuya, Kairo Zeke Lopez, he’s already in his 20’s but still acts like the bunso of the fam. After Kuya Kairo, I was born. After me, we have the twins, Jacob Myrrh Lopez, and Jason Myrrh Lopez, these two are the black sheep of the fam, they're inseparable, of course mag-twins nga eh.
I'm the non-chalant of the fam but I guess you could call me the good kid hehe. Okay enough about me now. Back to the story guys!
Pagkatapos ng tournament namin ay dumeretso na ako sa bahay para makagawa na ng mga assignments and other things to do, like practicing my lines, chores, and more. As I've said, time management!!
Pagdating ko sa c5 road ay grabe yung traffic!! Sa Quezon city lang naman ako nakatira sa may White Plains malapit sa EDSA pero nasa BGC pa ako, so sobrang traffic ngayon! Ugh! One thing the government should really do is to handle the traffic here in the Philippines.
After somewhat one hour in the road because of the traffic ay nakauwi na ako sa bahay. And to my surprise, pagbukas ko ng pinto sa bahay namin,
“Surprisee! Congrats Kei!”
May inihanda sila Mom at Dad para sa akin dahil panalo nga kami at MVP pa ako sa tournament. Sabi ko hindi ko i-cecelebrate eh.
“Congrats nakk! Proud na proud kami sayo, akalain mo, panalo na nga sa laro tapos Most Valuable Player pa!!” Tuwang pagsabi ni Mom.
“Oo nga po Kuya Kei! Turuan mo nga kami paano yung cross-over move mo at yung pag-defense mo!” Sabi ng mga bunso.
Kei nga pala tawag nila sa akin as a nickname for Kierre. Masyado daw seryoso yung Kierre hahaha.
“Thanks Mom and Dad, you really surprised me” I said as I thanked them.
“Asan nga pala si kuya Kairo, Dad?” I asked, hindi ko pa kasi siya nakikita, feeling ko nag-outing na naman ‘yon, hindi naman ako sinama, hmp!
“Busy with his work anak, Overnight daw muna siya sa office niya.” Damn kuya Kairo super busy sa work ha. Pero gets ko naman, Kuya Kairo is the breadwinner of the fam to be honest.
After namin mag-celebrate, ay natapos na ata kami ng 8:30? Pumunta nalang ako sa kwarto ko para magawa ang mga assignments ko sa school, I set a timer at my phone and pressed the dnd button para walang makakapag-distract sa akin habang gumagawa. While making my Math assignment, I played spotify to keep me from stressing out on solving problems and equations.

I sang while doing my homework. It's a song called Autumn by Ben & Ben featuring Belle Mariano. I'm a huge fan of their music!
While singing the lyrics, I can’t help but to wonder what it feels like? You know, falling in love.
Of course nagkaroon naman na ako ng mga crush crush nung bata ako, pero it's not really what you would call love if you would look back to your younger self having a crush, right?
Nung napapaisip ako, bigla biglang may bumukas ng pintuan ko sa kwarto.
“Hey MVP champ! Congrats on your win! Though I'm still better than you.”
It's kuya Kairo!! Bigla akong umalis sa office chair ko at biglang yumakap kay kuya. Si kuya Kairo lang kasi ang pinaka-close ko sa family namin, sakaniya lang ako nagsasabi ng mga problema at nag-rarant sakaniya, he’s the person I look up to.
After a while talking to kuya, he went out na to my room, tagal ng conversation namin, halatang deep talks eh.
After about three hours of studying, it was now 1:00 am in the morning, grabe! Nakakapagod ‘tong araw na ‘to. I should get some rest now. Before I went to bed though, I scrolled through my socials, and saw the edits of my game kanina in tiktok, grabe, mga fans talaga! They even added slowmo and made the video much better, definitely going to put this in my repost to of course show some gratitude to the editors who made the video.
The thing I always do before I go to sleep, and no, it's not “doing your alarm”. I open my twitter, it's a habit of mine already, or most likely a daily routine now. I scrolled on twitter after seeing this post,
