you were in town buying snacks for u and annie, you two had decided to organize a movie night and it was a great way to celebrate after the time u spent studying and stressing.

,,fuck, annie how many bags of popcorn did you want?'' you say quickly by holding ur phone between ur ear and shoulder, hearing her brush thru her blonde hair.

,,only three, yk i love to nibble on them at night.'' she said while putting down her brush.

,,yeah and it's annoying, u wake me up everytime and leave small crumbles on the floor, u know it will attract ants.'' u said while placing the bags of popcorn in the basket around ur arm.

,,you know i clean myself afterwards, it's not my fault it's so good.'' annie argued back.

,,yeah yeah, doesn't matter. okay, i'll see u when i get back. goodbye.'' you told her. she said goodbye and u hang up the phone.

you slammed ur tongue against ur teeth as u left the driveway and towards the cash register where unfortunately, u hit someone, dropping all the snacks u held on the floor.

,,im really sorry!!'' u apologized out loud by crouching on the ground and start picking up the things.

,,ahh, no worries.'' he reassures u, joining u on the ground and also picking up the things on the ground. ,,atleast nothing broke.'' he let out a warm little laugh.

,,i guess ur right, but it's always embarrassing to bump into someone this way.'' u raised ur head while looking at the man. he was handsome and kind enough to help u with ur knocked items.

,,don't be, i can't be angry with a pretty girl like
you.''

ur eyes widened slightly as he uttered these words when u just met him. ,,thank you.'' ur tone was a murmur, slightly panting.

,,i should go.'' he got up and you imitated him. ,,but before i go, i think u forgot something.'' he told u. ur eyebrows frowned slightly as u carefully observed ur basket to see if u accidentally had left out an article.

,,my number on ur phone. that was corny.'' he laughed at his corny pick up line, which u found cute, u started laughing at his clumsiness.

,,no it's okay and here.'' u gave him ur phone, the screen was displaying a blank contact page. his fingers started tapping in rhythm before returning ur phone back to u. u take a look at his name and looked back at him.

,,it was nice meeting you, floch.'' u smiled at him.

,,it's nice meeting u too?..'' he said with an interrogating tone, waiting for u to pronounce ur name.

,,y/n.''

,,y/n.'' he repeated before nodding his head for a second before leaving.

you then went back into ur dorm with the shopping bags, u place annie's snacks on her bed. ,,you look different. what happened?'' she looked at u after taking her snacks.

,,is it so easy to read me?'' you asked with a decomposed look on ur face.

,,yeah.'' annie replied softly, tearing up her bag of popcorn. then u pouted until u jumped on ur bed and turned to the tv.

,,what are we looking today?'' you asked her, by browsing the different varieties of films and genres available.

,,a horror movie and you still haven't answered my question.'' annie said mischievously, throwing a small grain of corn at you, hitting ur ear by passing.

,,tch, i meet a guy at the store. he was cute and even put his number in my contact list.'' you then take out the grain of corn that fell onto ur bed and threw it into ur mouth.

,,wow. i didn't know you knew how to pull guys.'' annie says with a slight of irony.

,,i know how to do it, now shut up and watch the movie.'' you had chosen the silence of the lambs since it was one of the few movies you had watched with annie.

once the movie is over, ur phone vibrated. u seized it out and saw a notification with a familiar name on it. a smile appeared on ur face while opening his message.

you fell asleep with ur phone slowly falling from ur hands and passing near ur head as another notification appeared.
