CHAPTER 5 : MIYAGI DO

I sat on the sofa eating a piece of toast.

"You're up early." I heard Uncle Holland say.

"Well, I've got karate at Miyagi-Do." I responded answering his question.

"Oh the wax on wax off shit." He said.

"We're trying out some attack skills."

"Isn't LaRusso in Japan though?" Uncle Holland questioned me again.

"He put Sam in charge." I lied.

"Take my car." He threw me his keys and shushed me as I closed the door.

"Thanks Holland." I said to him while smiling. "You are my favourite Uncle." He was my only Uncle.

Demitri kicked Chris to the floor before helping him up.

"Good again." Sam said. "We must be ready to fight."

"What do you think you're doing?" Mrs LaRusso said from afar.

"Would you believe study group?" Demitri questioned.

"Home now all of you." Mrs LaRusso said gesturing for us to go.

"Home early." Holland said as I passed him back the keys.

"Mrs LaRusso made us go home." I responded.

"Hey dipshit." Jason said running down the stairs. "Dad said that if I wanted to go the arcade with the Cobras then I had to bring you."

"Why?"

"Since he can't drive and you can." Dad said from the kitchen.

"Dad you and Uncle Holland can drive." I corrected him.

"And?" Holland defended. "We don't wanna drive Jason."

"Great parenting guys." I clapped sarcastically. "You're seriously doing a great job."

"Come on Holly." Jason groaned.

"Fine!" I said running back out the door.

While Jason went galavanting around the arcade I stayed by the prize counter with Chris. Luckily he was doing his shift at the same time Jason wanted to meet up with Hawk and the others.

"Thanks make sure to come back to Golf n Stuff!" He smiled giving the cat plushie to the young girl. Suddenly the Cobras and Jason ran towards Chris placing tickets on the table. "What do you want?" Chris snapped at them.

"Well, to spend our hard earned tickets of course." Hawk said playfully to Chris.

"Like you actually won them and didn't go stealing them." I said.

"Stalker." Jason muttered under his breath.

"Anyway why don't you go get us a bobble head?" Hawk taunted. Chris turned around and began to get a bobble head but Hawk jumped the counter and grabbed a bunch of things and ran for it.

"Hey!" Chris shouted.

"Thanks for the gifts Chris!" Hawk shouted back teasingly.

In a rage Chris pulled out his phone and texted the Miyagi-Do group chat.

'NOW COBRAS MESSING WITH ME AT WORK?'

Texts instantly flooded in and eventually Sam and a few others agreed to show up at Golf n Stuff.
