"It's nearly Christmas!" I shouted from the top of the stairs.
"Calm down Holly it's 7am." Dad told me. I rolled my eyes and headed downstairs. I grabbed some French toast that wasn't actually French and munched on it while watching 'Christmas Chronicles 2'. Let's be real here Christmas Chronicles 2 is so much better than the original everyone normally agrees with me except my brother. The closest thing this world has to Scrooge.
"Ooo I got a message." I exclaimed opening up my phone to see a notification from Rae.
'hey holls, u mind if i stay over for holidays? dad's seeing an old friend' She texted.
"Dad can Rae come over?" I pleaded.
"Sure why not."
"Yippee thanks so much!" I quickly began to text Rae.
'Sure need picking up?' I texted.
'would b good' She texted back.
"Dad I'm getting Rae!" I shouted while throwing on my coat and grabbing the keys for the car.
"Okay!" He shouted back.

I knocked on the door waiting for Rae to answer. Strangely Mr Lawrence answered.
"Oh you're Rae's friend, right?" Rae's dad asked me. I nodded.
"Yeah I'm here to pick her up." I said.
"Rae get here right now or I'm not feeding you for a year!" He shouted down the corridor. "Hold up, hold up. Didn't your brother date Rae at one point?"
"Yeah like before the fight I think."
"Dad I swear to god if you're making me help out with the dojo-" Rae began until she spotted me. "Oh hey Holly."
"Hi."
"Im gonna go with Holly now. See you Dad!" She waved before getting into my car. I turned on the radio and the song 'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey came on.
"Dont you dare Holly." Rae said. Stopping me from saying 'They sang this on glee!'
"Awh fine!" I finally said starting the car engine and driving out the estate.

We arrived home a few minuets later.
"Dad I'm home!" I shouted.
"Hey Rae." Jason said. I hated how they acted like they weren't texting each other on a regular basis.
"Hi Jason." Rae responded giving Jason a small, pathetic wave.
"Yo what's up Rae." Uncle Holland said shaking Rae's hand.
"Hi Holland."
"Oh hi Rae!" Dad shouted from the kitchen.
"Hi Mr March!"
"Are you staying for the holidays Rae?" Jason asked her.
"Yeah."
"Oh okay." Jason responded. "You can take the couch this time."
"Thanks." She smiled warmly. "Oh umm Holly I forgot to tell you. Robby got out of juvie." I nodded smiling at her.
"That's great news!" I started. "I'm guessing he's at the LaRusso's hosue?"
"Actually we don't know.."
