Sana and Y/N had been friends for years, their contrasting personalities creating a unique and long-lasting bond. Now in university, they lived together in the same house, making their daily lives even more intertwined.

One early morning, Sana was up and buzzing with excitement, her voice filling the house as she prepared for the day. Y/N, still nestled in her bed, groaned in annoyance. “Sana, why are you so loud?” she mumbled, burying her face deeper into her pillow.

“Get up, Y/N! We need to get going!” Sana chirped, her enthusiasm uncontainable.

Reluctantly, Y/N dragged herself out of bed, grumpily getting ready for the day. As she finished, she noticed something different about Sana but couldn’t quite put her finger on it. With a furrowed brow, she found herself staring at her friend, trying to identify the change.

Sana, noticing Y/N’s intense gaze, raised an eyebrow. “What?”

Y/N stepped closer, examining Sana’s hair, then her face. She gently lifted Sana’s eyelids, making her eyes go wide, then inspected her makeup. Finally, she even opened Sana’s mouth and pinched her cheeks, trying to solve the mystery.

“What are you doing?” Sana exclaimed, slapping Y/N’s hands away and rolling her eyes. She quickly started fixing the makeup Y/N had messed up.

Y/N stepped back, still puzzled. “I swear there’s something different about you today. Am I imagining things?”

Sana felt her cheeks heat up but quickly dismissed Y/N’s curiosity. “You’re imagining things. Now, hurry up, or we’ll be late.”

Y/N shrugged, turning around to head for the door. “Fine, but be quick, or I’m leaving without you.”

As Y/N walked away, Sana called after her. “Wait for me!” She hurried to catch up, a small smile playing on her lips, her secret safe for now.

When they arrived at the university, Y/N parked the car and quickly got out to open the door for Sana, as she always did. She reached for Sana’s bag, ready to carry it for her, but Sana pulled it away. “I can manage,” she said, her tone firm.

Y/N gave Sana a puzzled look. “Are you sure? I’ve always carried your bag.”

Sana nodded. “We’re in university now, Y/N. You don’t have to treat me like a child.”

Y/N was about to protest, but Sana had already started walking towards the campus entrance. Y/N quickly caught up to her, still perplexed. “Alright, so where’s your building?”

Sana pointed in the direction of her building. “It’s over there.”

Y/N nodded. “Got it.”

As they walked, Sana suddenly stopped, causing Y/N to bump into her back. “Ow! Why did you stop?” Y/N groaned, rubbing her face.

Sana turned around with a sweet smile. “You don’t have to walk me to my building, Y/N. I can go by myself.”

Y/N frowned, now more confused. “But I’ve always walked you to class.”

Sana sighed, noticing Y/N’s questioning look. “Y/N, we’re grown-ups now. I can manage on my own, and besides, you need to get to your building too. I don’t want you to be late for your first period.”

Y/N hesitated. “Are you sure? It’s really no trouble.”

“It’s not fine, Y/N. It’s almost time, and I really don’t want you to be late,” Sana insisted, trying not to sound suspicious.
