Ravi
Day 523. Ravi crossed off another date on the calendar, sighing. How much longer would it be?
(also, it's totally friday today trust cs im too lazy to like plan out what day is which so its a friday ok)
Shower, eat, shoes, leave.
Work was boring and slow, sorting papers here and there. Being yelled at by angry customers who were pissed they had lost a lawsuit, or demanding to speak to the higher ups. Even though it sucked at times, the pay was great and he really didn't mind his job all that much.
Insert Typical Alarm Sound
5:00pm. He put the stacks of papers away into the bins below his desk, sorting them to finish tomorrow. He was surprised at how much he had gotten done today. Waving goodbye to the guy at the front desk, he headed over to his car and drove to the Amobis. He knocked. Long, short, long. Leanne and Victor came to the door, and smiled, letting him in.
"So, Ravi, how are you?" Leanne asked.
"Pretty good, getting better at work." Typical small talk, until they all sat down. Josh came running over, giving Ravi a side hug then going to sit in the chair across from him. He leaned forward to grab a piece of bread before his mother slapped his hand.
"Did you wash your hands Josh?" He sighed defeatedly and went to the bathroom, washed them, and came back. Then he grabbed the piece of bread he was eyeing and started eating.
"So, anything from Pip lately?" Victor exchanged a worried glance with his wife.
"No, she hasn't texted us at all."
"We're so worried about her." Leanne cut in.
"We are?"
"Josh!"
"Sorry mom."
Ravi let out a small laugh before seeing the upset frown on Leanne's face.
Ravi tried to comfort her with a small smile. "She'll be alright."
"I hope so."
They ate the rest of the meal silently, but Ravi doubted anyones minds were quiet. Especially not him. Pip rarely texted them anymore, or answered their calls. He guessed she was just trying to distance herself from them like she had from him. He shoved another spoon full of soup into his mouth, trying to focus on the flavor rather than his stupid thoughts. It didn't work though, it never did. Pip was like a ghost that lived in the center of his mind, no matter how hard he worked to push her to the back. He loved her, he truly did. Once he finished, he thanked Leanne and hugged Victor. Josh ran with him to his car, and Ravi drove off.
"Ravi! You're home." Nisha smiled. "How was dinner? Any news?"
He sighed. "No, she hasn't answered their texts at all this week."
"Oh. Well, she's a very strong girl. I'm sure she's ok. You're father and I didn't finish the soup I made- I'm afraid I made too much again. Do you want some?"
Ravi appreciated his mother trying to lighten the mood. "No, I'm already stuffed. I'm gonna head up to my room. Love you." He gave her a kiss on the cheek and went up to his room, laying down on his bed.
Clink!
"What the fuck...?" he muttered, like that would give him the answer.
Clink!
He stood up and walked to his window. He looked down and- Pip? No, Selene. What was she doing here? She could've just texted. He signaled he'd come down.
"What are you doing here?"
"Ravi, I'm sorry. I figured this was easier than texting you. I haven't been able to stop thinking about you- and I know I totally messed up our first date..but I really like you." She took his hands in hers. "Could we try again?"
He kind of just stood there, confused. "Uh..yeah. Sure?" This time he agreed knowing why deep down, and guilt hit him like a train. He really was only dating her to get over Pip. He knew it was the shittiest thing possible he could do, but he tried to ignore it. Ravi was convinced he really did just like Selene.
She smiled. "Date tomorrow?"
"Yeah."

A/N - This chapter actually sucked dog shit. Like I'm so disappointed in my writing skills for the chapter. Sorry it's not the best, but I tried to make it as long as possible. The only important part was the last part. On the bright side, Pip will be coming back next chapter! Cause in time skips we fucking trust.
Also, I know this kind of seems out of character for Ravi, but in my opinion not really. I think there's a chance that he would do this based on his character, but its very unlikely. With the way his character was developed he's more likely to wait for Pip, but I used the small chance he would do this because I want to write more than 3 chapters. And we need plot so. Anyways I really hope you guys liked this shitty ass chapter! I'll try to upload two more today, but no promises. Pleasee comment any ideas for this series. I know where I'm going with the plot but I love knowing what you guys want to see in this! Love you guys!
