Chapter 10 -The Date

I saw chandeliers and a fountain. It was beautiful everything was in a place and made it more unique.
"This is so beautiful"
"Just like you"
"So what are we going to do?"
"We are going to eat dinner then go strolling at the park, then to finish the night we will go to the carnival."
"Wonderful"
"Ok let's get inside the restaurant"
"Yeah"
We walked to our table and ordered our drinks. We looked at the menu and we ordered a couple dinner.
"So Kenny tell me about yourself that nobody else knows."
"Ok. I am very close to my cousins Jackie and Krystal. I was over at her house one day and Jackie died. She was the one closer to me in age. She died because she had type two diabetes. She didn't check her sugar or blood pressure. She passed out right in front of me. We took her to the hospital. We waited hours for her to wake up. The doctors came and told us she died. It was the saddest day in my life. She will always have a place in my heart. I wish she was here with me. She will talk to me if we had problems. She never left my side. She has always done good while I on the other hand was the bad girl of town but I never drank or smoked. She taught me to quit with both of my addictions. I miss her very much."

I started crying. Cruz came over to my side and hugged me.

"I'm here for you don't cry. You are to beautiful to cry. Jackie would of said the same thing. Now I know something a about you now it's my turn. My mom died of suicide. My dad died of lung cancer. My dad died first. We were at the beach. Since he smoked a lot we knew he would have cancer. He was buying my mom her favorite icecream. When he came back he said he didn't feel good. We took him home. He kept throwing up. We took him to the hospital. They said he had lung cancer and he would die in 4 months. We took him home and we started watching movies. My dad went upstairs to go to the bathroom. When he didn't come back for a couple minutes I went upstairs. I found him on the floor. He was dead. I went running down stairs and told my mom. She started crying so hard. I don't like it when she cries. The doctors prediction was wrong. He didn't have 4 months he had 4 hrs. After that day we didn't do anything just sit and cry. Since my dad was my moms mate she didn't fell happy any time. I took a month for her to come out of the house. One day me and Jenny came home from school we found my mom on the couch lifeless. I saw a cup next to her. I touch the liquid but when I touched it I hissed. The reason was because she drunk silver. It was horrible. We were dad."

I looked at Cruz his eyes filled with tears. I hugged him. We saw the waiter coming back with our food. We ate in silence. When we left we went to the park. We were strolling in the park when I saw a black figure. I jumped back.
"Cruz do you see that over there?"
"Yeah what do you think it is"
"I don't know. But it kept following since the day at the fight."
"Ok let's get out of here."
"Thanks I don't like walking with that thing following us."
We got back to the car and went to the carnival. I got on most of the rides while Cruz watched some on the side. He won me a stuffed teddy bear. I named him Wolfie. Cruz laughed when I named him that because he was a bear not a wolf. We went home and I gave Cruz a kiss on the cheek and thanked him for the great night. I told him to meet me at my house tomorrow so we could visit my aunts pack. I told him to bring his sister and Jenny.

Xavier's pov

I saw her get off at her house with Cruz. I watched her kiss him on the cheek. I growled quietly. She was my mate and she didn't know. I don't like her being with other guys. I waited my whole life to see my mate. I found her. She didn't know I was her mate. I hate her not knowing.
