Lucille's POV,

The school bell rings filling my ears. I looked at my next class. Math... Just great. It's just four more days left until summer and we gotta still go to math.

I walked over to math class. I see Cheryl, our math teacher. She was getting ready. "I want to skip." I thought, as I sat in my designated seat on my desk, luckily this was the last period before we get to leave this hell hole of a school for the rest of the day. I looked up from my desk and looked over to the side to see my friend Brianna.

"Hey Bri." I whispered to her.

Brianna looked over at me. "Hey Lucy." Brianna said her short blonde hair danced on top of her shoulders when she looked at me.

"Wondering if you'd like to hang out." I asked her as she looked at my desk.

"You mean after school?" She asked as she wrote what the teacher was saying as she was speaking to me. Brianna is a really good multitasker.

"Yes." I said and nodded.

"Can't." She said quickly but it didn't seem too quick like she didn't want to hang out with me. I was only just few second gap. I counted about five seconds before she answered.

"What?" I said wanting to make sure I heard that right. Just in case she changes her mind.

"I said I can't hang out." Brianna said, clarifying her early response. "I have a doctor appointment and I can't miss it. It's my dentist appointment. Remember the one that I told you about a few days ago." She added.

"Oh... I see. Yes I remember you told me I forgot that was today." I said to her.

We continue to listen to the teacher, speaking and writing anything down that she says is important. Of course, I mainly just drew on my paper that I was writing my notes in. Brianna just looked over at me again as she continues writing what the teacher was speaking, before stopping as she said. "We can hang out tomorrow?" I looked at her.

"Really?" I asked, I thought she had something to do tomorrow too, but I wasn't sure so I was hopeful.

Brianna nodded her head. "I just have to double check my schedule and then I'll let you know through text message." She said. I nodded it again and just when I was about to say something, the teacher Cheryl interrupted us.

"Girls, I appreciate you two paying attention to this. This could be important for your future." She said, as we nodded before paying attention once again.

It felt like forever,
But it was only 30 minutes that the end of the day bell finally rang it's beautiful sound. All the students got up and quickly went out of the classroom door that included Brianna. I grabbed my stuff and followed the students out of the classroom door. I walked over to my locker and grab some things ready to go back home. I met with my sister knowing she was at her locker. Her name is Lunar or Luna as I like to call her. Luna is my identical twin. When I finally met up with her, she was at her locker like always getting her a few things to bring home. She turned around and looked at me and her head as we both started to walk out of the school to begin walking home.

It was gonna be a long journey back home. But in reality, it was only a few minutes. We always walked home almost every day after school finishes. no not because we can't afford to take the bus but because our house like I said is a few minutes away and a few blocks away from school. You know how some schools are very close to houses that are across the street and some kids walk there? Well, we are like that, but we are behind those houses that are right next to the school. We do not walk home appointments or extra activities that mom picks us up and brings us to those activities, but now the extra activities are finished and it's only four days left to summer break. We were all already thinking the same thing. What are we going to do? What are we going to do during summer break? As we were walking, Luna looked at me.

"Lucy?" Luna asked as she saw my face as we walked, and I instantly knew what she was going to ask. It was a twin thing. "What are we going to do when summer starts? We have no activities?" She asked me. Of course, I knew that as she was going to ask.

I looked over at her and said well, we were both thinking. "I'm... I'm not sure." I was unsure myself and I couldn't lie to my sister, of course she knew me too well.

"So that's it?" She asked.

"I guess it is." I said. "Unless we find something to go do for the summer."

"How? Most of our friends go on vacation for summer?" Luna asked me. It was true. Most of our friends do go on vacation for summer. I noticed the way she walks, how she slows down to talk to me. She was much faster at walking than me. This is only one we are speaking to each other while walking home or walking anywhere.

"We just have to figure out what to do! We always do." I said as she smiled as we went silent and walked home in silence. When really we were thinking of what we were gonna do for the summer break.
