Lunar's POV,

After a few minutes of walking home. Lucy looked at me.

"Hey, what day is it again?" Lucy asked me.

"Monday." I answered.

Lucy looked at me. "Not what I meant.... I meant the month and day." She said quickly as I made an o shaped with my mouth and nodded.

"Ohhhh okay okay. It's May... and the date is 27th." I replied.

"So May 27th?" She asked as I nodded.

She nodded back and we went quiet again and a minute later, we finally got home as we got into the house taking our shoes off and placing our light book bags down on the side of the porch. We walked into the living room and sat on the couch in unison.

"Long day at school?" We heard mom asking who was currently resting on the couch, the couch was resting against the wall and where we stood it was across from us.

"Yeah." Lucy said, before I forget, this is my identical twin sister Lucille or Lucy as I like to call her. I bet my sister had told you about me already.

"Yeah it was a really long day. I can't wait for summer break to start. It means no more school." I said as mom smiled.

"So that means you're excited for summer?" Mom asked us.

Before I could say anything, Lucy interrupted by saying. "No.... Not at all."

"Oh? Well, why not?" Mom asked us or specifically my twin.

"Well we would have nothing to do for summer break.... Our friends are going on vacation so we are left alone and we got no activities to do." Lucy said.

Mom looked at me and I knew what she was gonna say. "What about you Lunar are you unhappy for not being able to do anything for summer break?" She asked as I shook my head, no.

"I wouldn't say I'm unhappy, I'm just sad that we have no extra activities left to do for the summer break. It's going to be so boring." I said with a frown.

"Oh... I see." Mom said.

"Yeah no friends stay in town for summer break. Actually no one stays for Summer break. except for the people who work, the adults." Lucy said as I saw my sister sigh and nodded, I gave Lucy a poke on the side of her ribs only to keep her from saying anything too harsh. But it kinda felt too hard making her flinch.

"Don't do that." Mom said seeing what I have done to Lucy even though it was just a little poke in between the ribs.

"Sorry mom." I said as she sighed and just nodded.

"It's alright honey, just don't do that again." She said as I nodded.

I quickly stood up and went back to the porch to grab my book bag as I brought it to the living room while our Mom watched me take some things out and placed it on the beige carpet floor as I moved it to my corner with the rest of my stuff that used to be in my locker.

"Do you have homework?" Mom asked me and I shook my head.

"No just taking out my stuff so I can go back and clean out my locker more." I said as mom turned to Lucy.

"Have you started cleaning out your locker yet Lucille?" Mom asked my sister.

"Yes mom. Since there's only 4 days left till school." Lucy said.

"5 days." I said quickly as Lucy turned her head to face me.

"No, there's 4 days left till school."

"There's 5 days left." I insisted.

"4." Lucy said again.

Before I could say 5 to Lucy, mom interrupted us.
