Epilogue

Leo hummed along to his playlist, 'I Gotta Feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas floating through the air. He pursed his lips to spread lipstick all over them, carefully tracing a line along the edge of them. Oh, how he wanted bigger lips. Next was his eyeliner, keeping as steady of a hand as he could, then winging it sharper than his sword. He tossed his jacket over his head, opting to add the finishing touches later.

The rest of the lair was alight with the sounds of his family, Mikey with his hyper pop tunes in the middle of a hyperfocus art binge, eighties show theme music drifting from the living room, and something with a heavy beat echoing from the dojo.

"Raph! My dude!" Leo called out, peaking into the dojo, "What's the tune?"

"Punk Tactics!" Raph answered, huffing between one-armed push-ups.

"Great!" Leo grinned, "Don't forget to clean up before we go! We don't want to be late again!"

"Got it!"

Leo continued on his way through the lair, hearing the maniacal laughter of his twin brother coming from the lab. Entering the room, lights were blinking and saws were going, 'The sound of science' as Donny would say.

"Hey, Dee! What's the tune?" Leo asked, leaning against the doorway.

"WEIRD SCIENCE!" Donny cackled, goggles down and extra arms working. Leo chuckled and left him to it.

"Hey, Leo!" April greeted, leaning out of the kitchen, "Oh! You smudged your eyeliner!"

"What!? Nooooo!" Leo groaned, rushing to the nearest mirror, "It looked so good!"

"There, there," April chuckled, "Let your big sister handle this!"

She dragged Leo into the kitchen, pulling out her handy make-up bag. The two chatted as April fixed his eyeliner, Cass and Casey causing their own chaos as the former foot soldier tried to teach her future son how to cook. Mikey rushed in to save his kitchen when the oven caught fire, then chewed the two out as Donny's lab exploded in the background. Leo heard Raph yelling at his twin, something about not blowing up the lair, remember what happened last time!? Splinter came in to grab snacks during a commercial break, complimenting Leo's makeup on the way out.

"I gotta get Raph and go," Leo said, checking his phone, "Don't wait up for me though, I'm spending the night at Ichi's,"

"Ooo~" His siblings teased, Casey Jr. looking at them confused.

"Yeah, yeah," Leo chuckled, "Make sure Donny doesn't stay up all night playing with his new toy!"

Grabbing his duffel bag, Leo went on the look for his older brother. He peeked into Raph's room, seeing his brother in uniform and on the phone, talking to Mona.

"...Yeah! He really liked your gift!" Raph grinned, "Though, I have no idea how you got your hands on that tech stuff," He paused, listening to Mona over the line, "That makes a lot of sense! Oh! And Leo-"

"Raph! I don't want to cut off you and your girlfriend, but we're gonna be late!" Leo shouted, tapping his wrist. Raph rolled his eyes.

"I've gotta go," He said, standing up, "I hope you can come over again soon! Bye!" He hung up the phone, playfully shaking his head at Leo, "Are you happy now?"

"Very!" Leo grinned, slashing at the air with his shovel, "Now c'mon!"

The two stepped through into the Midnight Stars' back rooms, the music from the main dance floor already shaking their chests.
