I'm So Sorry

A week had passed and my shoulder had completely healed. Well actually it healed the day I got it. But it stopped feeling uncomfortable. It felt like the arrow was still there. Probably because of how violently it was taken out of my arm.

But anyway, a week had passed and the four kings and queens were to finally be crowned and take their places on their thrones.

I was still immensely pissed at Susan for being a bitch, but I had to put on a smile to match their happy demeanors.

Edmund and I hadn't really talked much except for the occasional hi's in the halls. But I didn't have any time to worry about it, the coronation was tomorrow.

"Oh Lu, you look great," I whispered as I looked at her image in the mirror. She wore a long sleeved dress. It was a beautiful light blue color and around her neck was a crimson cape clasped together by a golden lion head clip.

"Thanks Lexi," she said smiling at my reflection.

The door opened and in walked a, as much as I hate saying this, beautiful Susan in a dark grayish-blue dress and a dark blue almost black cape around her neck.

"Oh Susan, you look amazing," Lucy said with admiration in her eyes as she looked her sister up and down.

"Thanks, Lu," Susan said with a graceful smile.

I walked over to my sister, who came in with Susan from Susan's dressing room.

"Are our dresses done?" I asked her.

She nodded. "And they look beautiful."

I smiled and was about to walk out when a disheveled Edmund came in tugging at his gold clasp. He was followed by Peter who was laughing hysterically at him.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I approached them.

"Edmund. Can't. Put his. Cape on." Peter said in between laughs.

"And you didn't think to help him?" I scolded.

He looked at me, trying to calm down. "It was too funny. How could I resist?" And then he burst into another fit of laughter.

"Jerk," Edmund mumbled as he shot a glare at his brother before turning back to the clasp.

I shook my head and started to fix his cape, which somehow got stuck in his boots and his tunic was stuck in his trousers.

I yanked the tunic out of his trousers and straightened it out. I looked at Edmund, who was redder than a tomato. I fixed his cape and stood up straight, clapping my hands together.

"Oh, you both look amazing," I said, looking between them. Ed blushed brighter and I think I just boosted Peter's ego.

"Alright everyone, you all look great, now get out of your clothes and let's get some food. I'm starving," Cass said clapping her hands together.

I saw the eyes of the guys get wider, and then they made a mad rush for the door.

"Don't rip your clothes," I yelled after them laughing. I helped Lucy out of her clothes and we headed down to the dining hall for dinner. Tomorrow was going to be exciting.

I woke up the next morning, when the sun just peaked over the horizon. That's been happening a lot lately I'd wake up as soon as the sun rose above the horizon, it was a little unsettling but lovely at the same time. Sunrises were one of my most favorite things, besides sunsets that is.

My sister was in the bed on the other side of the room. She isn't much of a morning person so I let her sleep and began getting my things ready. I bathed and put on a fresh set of tunic and trousers.
