Demigods + Wizard Tournament = One Amazing Story!

Chapter 6: Draco

History of Magic was boring as usual, and I was surprised that Nico previously knew a lot of the answers. The professor kept asking ancient questions like "What greek goddess controls magic? Nico? Correct, the answer is indeed Hecate." Blah, blah, blah.

Next class we had was Herbology with Hufflepuff. We walked into the class- almost late. There were only three seats left. One was with a dreaded Hufflepuff and another was a desk beside the horrid Hufflepuff. "C'mon Nico, let's go sit in those seats." I point to the open desk.

"Hey Death Boy! Over here!" A loud whisper voiced in the room. It was that one Hufflepuff boy.

"Oh where would I be without my Sunshine?" Nico joked with the boy in yellow and black, but nonetheless took the seat by him.

Okay so maybe I'll sit by myself at the free desk.

Professor Sprout began class," Today we will begin growing lycopersiciSusceptibility plants." I turned to Nico who was snickering and Will was looking at him questioningly. Then Nico proceeded to whisper in his friends ear, causing Will to join him in the laughter.
"Mr. Di Angelo, Mr. Solace, are interrupting your funny business?"

"Just a little bit..." Nico got out in between laughing fits. Professor Sprout was red with rage.

"Oh look Nico! You made her red as a lycopersiciSusceptibility!" Will witted.

"William! I'm sorry for this, but detention! To the both of you!" Professor Sprout bossed. I've never seen her give a detention before, much less to a student of her own house. Nevertheless, it shut the two up quick enough. Sprout commenced passing out the red fruit plants to everyone, only one a table.

She handed one to Nico, but as soon as he touched it, the room darkened and the plant shriveled up. "Don't worry Death Boy, I've got this." Will said after he saw Nico pale after he saw Sprout's face. As soon as Will touched it, the room brightened up and slowly revived the plant. Prof. Sprout's smile returned shortly after she got past the state of shock. "Umm... Okay, class. Let's continue." She had said.

Next class we had was Charms, with the Hufflepuffs. As soon as we stepped out of Professor Sprout's classroom, aka the green-room, Will took Nico's hand in his own causing Nico to blush a deep crimson. The poor couple got so many disgusted looks from other wizards and witches. Some kid, from a younger year than us, from Slytherin even had the guts to come up to them and said," You poor pathetic excuse for a Slytherin. You can't be gay. Especially for a Hufflepuff." According to Nico's facial expression, he was hurt and angry, but too stunned to do anything. Will, being his hero, sucker-punched the kid right in the nose. Much like how Hermione had done to me in third year. The kid had to run to Madame Pomfrey's immediately because of the bloody nose.

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Although word got around school that Headmistress McGonagall had a big announcement to make.

------TIMESKIP TO SUPPER-------

"Quiet! Quiet down please!" McGonagall had attempted quieting the hall. Prof. Jackson then let out a cab whistle to shut everyone up. "Thank you Perseus." Percy looked like he wanted arguing with her but thought better of it. "I'm sure you've all heard that I was planning a big announcement." A scramble of voices echoed in the Great Hall. "Well, here it is." That shut everyone back up quickly. "Hogwarts is going to be having a tournament. A tournament of powers and agility, you could say. I have already chosen two candidates from each house to participate in the tournament. If the chosen choose not to participate, then that house will be short one competitor unless someone else chooses to volunteer. Now from Ravenclaw, Cho Chang and Luna Lovegood! From Hufflepuff, Will Solace and Hannah Abbott! From Slytherin, Nico Di Angelo and Draco Malfoy! From Gryffindor, Annabeth Chase and Hermione Granger!" There were up roars of protests, surprised that Harry Potter wouldn't be representing their house. Then it dawned on me. I was one of the people who had to compete!
