Four clans, four families, four stories, and one war. These four clans were made up of the Hyuga Clan, Uzumaki Clan, Haruno Clan and Uchiha Clan. The current emperor Neji Hyuga, who has declared war on the Uzumaki Clan due to the secret marriage between Naruto Uzumaki, son of the leader of the Uzumaki clan, and Hinata Hyuga, the emperor's cousin.

For centuries, both clans have had economic conflicts, and marriages between both clans had been prohibited due to acquisitive competition. Centuries ago the Hyuga Clan invaded several cities that belonged to the Uzumaki Clan, where a war broke out between both sides. On the other hand, during this war the Uchiha Clan had a battle with the Senju Clan for power over the city of Konoha. In that battle the Senju Clan disappeared, it was completely eradicated by the Uchiha, with no Senju descendants left.

The war between the Uzumaki clan and the Hyuga clan ended with the division of the most important cities, one of them coastal that ended up being occupied by the Hyuga Clan. Since then, the Uzumaki Clan has not wanted to have any alliance. However, both leaders in past centuries lived in harmony, until now.

Sakura Haruno was the only descendant of the Haruno clan. This clan compared to the other three clans was the weakest, with less purchasing and military power. That is why she had arranged a marriage with the youngest son of the Uchiha leader, Sasuke Uchiha.

As the conflict between the Uzumaki and the Hyuga was increasingly evident, the Haruno wanted to lighten the marriage to formalize the alliance, and have the protection of the Uchiha.

"I don't understand that because my parents didn't want to have more children, I should now have to marry an Uchiha." Sakura was surrounded by maids, who were adjusting the hakama around her waist. She looked in the mirror, observing some pink strands that fell to the sides of her face. The room was open to her garden, so the humidity from the rain made her hair a little more messy than normal. Her green eyes watched how the maids coordinated, almost like a dance, to accommodate all of her clothing.

She knew that the maids couldn't give her any solution to her current problem. But she liked to be able to vent, since there were almost never visitors at the Haruno's house, and if it did it was for business with his father. On the other hand, today there was an unusual visit, although Sakura was not very enthusiastic because it was related to the preparation of her wedding.

Once she was ready, she had to go to the main hall, where the most important visitors met. In this case, it was not Fugaku Uchiha closing deals with his father about the new alliance between both clans. This time it was Mikoto Uchiha, his wife, who was in charge of the wedding preparations, indeed.

As Sakura headed to the main hall, she wondered how Mikoto would look like, imagining her with dark hair and black eyes, and pale skin, the characteristic features of the Uchiha clan. She imagined her to be serious, and distant, like Fugaku. Just like she imagined her future husband, distant and cold. She had never met Sasuke Uchiha.

The clans rarely got together, especially the young descendants, all those formalities were taken care of by the clan leaders, the young people were concerned about their training, whether military or educational, which was always within the clan compound.

Sakura's mind returned to the present, as she put one foot in front of the other, heading towards the sliding door that would reveal the image of her future mother-in-law. When she entered, she saw a woman sitting on her lap, straight, dark hair loose on one side, with a thin nose, and large, dark eyes. Noticing Sakura's presence, she turned her head to show her a soft smile. She was wearing a light green kimono, patterned with red and darker green flowers. In front of her was her mother, she was also wearing a kimono, but it was light red and printed with white flowers. She was talking to Mikoto, until Sakura interrupted in the room.
