It's been several months since Itachi brought Sakura the divorce papers. The next day Tsunade sent them to arrive at the compound. She did not want anyone to visit them again, she did not want them to run the risk of them knowing that Sakura and Sasuke's daughter had survived.

The first days for Sakura were painful, although she had already begun to get the idea since it was not normal for Sasuke not to return, so she accepted that this was going to be her destiny. Since they got married, nothing had been easy and perhaps putting an end to that story was the best thing for both of them. She did not know if Sasuke would remarry, but it was clear to her that she was going to dedicate herself fully to the care of her daughter and to improve the arts of medicine. She still had a lot to learn and she had a girl to raise, now she couldn't give herself the pleasure of isolating herself in a room and spending days crying over a man. No, that had already happened. She now had to look to the future and fight for her and her daughter.

Sarada was already three months old, she was a healthy and very gluttonous girl. She was beautiful, she had inherited her father's features, raven hair, and dark eyes, in addition to his fine and elegant nose. She didn't look like Sakura, but Sakura didn't mind. Sarada has been the result of the love her parents once had. Every time she looked at Sarada she looked at Sasuke, and it was the only memory she had of him, it hurt her, but she preferred it that way. She couldn't erase or eliminate the love she felt for him, and her daughter was living proof of that, but she couldn't let those feelings of sadness leave her and control her life either.

Sakura was getting Sarada ready while she was changing her diaper when she heard someone knock on the door. She was alone at that time, Tsunade had gone to the Haruno's house for a moment. Fear overwhelmed her, who could it be? She left Sarada in the crib in her room and closed the door, afraid of who might be. She was afraid that the Uchihas would find out that Sarada had survived. As Tsunade explained to her that it was better to make them believe that Sarada had died, so she wouldn't run the risk of them taking her, although she wasn't entirely sure that they could do something like that, but it was better this way.

When she opened the door, standing there was a small, elegant figure, dressed in a yellow kimono, with long blue hair and gray eyes, in her arms a child a little older than Sarada, with blonde hair and light eyes.

"Hinata," Sakura greeted her friend.

"Sakura, how are you feeling?" She greeted with a shy smile.

"Come in, come in..." she said as she let her into the cabin. "Sit down and make yourself comfortable, how is little Boruto?" she asked.

"We are all fine, and how are you feeling? I got the sad news..." she spoke with sad eyes, and looked at her with sorrow. Sakura understood what her friend was referring to, when suddenly it was heard a crying coming from the other side of the room. Hinata stared at Sakura in amazement. And Sakura headed towards the room, leaving with Sarada in her arms. "Sakura..." Hinata said in surprise as she stood up to her.

"Please don't say anything, it's a secret to protect her from the Uchihas," she asked almost pleading.

"Don't worry, I'm a grave," she said calmly and giving her a warm smile. Most likely, her friend understood the fear that Sakura was going through, since it was no different from when Hinata was exiled in Country of Earth.

"Thank you, Hinata," she returned the relieved smile, she firmly believed that her friend would keep her secret from her.

"What a beautiful girl," Hinata said, approaching Sarada. "She can't deny that Sasuke is her father," she said with a sad smile, looking at Sakura sadly. "How do you feel about all this?"
