Your POV: "Wait! Lucas you dumbass!",Dustin runs after Lucas as me and the party sat in the library. Why we are in the library? I dont have an idea. Lucas and Dustin said they wanted to show us something. I look over at Max who was dating Lucas since the snowball. Its been a week since the snowball was. Me and Mike spended alot time together and we became even more close. The librarian glared at Dustin and Lucas and shushed them. After they finally stopped arguring they turned to us. "So Dustin has something to tell you guys. Its really sad but im happy to get rid of him for a while-",Lucas starts. "What? Wheres Dustin going?",I ask a little worried. "Im gonna be gone next summer..",Dustin said dramatically. "Next summer? Why are you telling us now?",Max asks. "Because ive got in camp know where!",Dustin said excitedly. "Camp what?",Max asks again. "This science camp for nerds i guess.",I say. "Hey im not a nerd {y/n}!",Dustin says trying to glare at me. "You look weird. Stop trying to glare at me.",I say as I chuckle. I look over at Mike. "Dustin we're gonna miss you.",Will says with an dramatic voice. "Of course you will! I mean imagine a summer without your favourite friend Dustin!",Dustin says with the same dramatic tone Will used. Mike sighs:"Okay but we have time until next summer." I nod: "Lets just spend the rest of the year and spring together." Dustin nods. "How about we play DND this saturday?",Will suggest. "Yeah! Please we havent done that in a long time.",I say. Everyone agrees. I really love the party.
I walked out of the library after Mike. Everyone knows we are offical by now. I walk to my bike. "Hey Mike",I look at him. "Yeah?",he looks up. "Wanna hang out?",I suggest. He grins: "race to the lake?" I nod and we both get onto our bikes. "How long havent we've been to the lake?",I ask riding my bike slowly next to his as we drive out of the libarys parking lot. "I dont know. But I miss frog Dustin.",Mike says with his usual Mike grin. "Yeah. When Dustin is gone and we miss him we still have frog Dustin.",I chuckle. "I'll have to take him with me in my basement then and when we're playing dnd we're gonna have frog Dustin instead of real Dustin.",Mike says sarcastically. "Oh yeah but make sure Holly wont steal frog Dustin then. She'll probably think its an plushie." "Holly doesnt dare to go into the basement alone. I told her that there are monsters.",Mike explains chuckling. I chuckle:"You filthy brother" We start our race to the lake and guess what: I reached it first. I get off my bike. "I'll always be faster than you!",I chuckle as I watch Mike getting off his bike. We sit down on the tree. "Remember the first time we came here?",Mike asks me looking at the ,since its winter,now forzen lake. "Yeah I just moved here and I liked you alot.",I say giggling. He looks at me:"I liked you alot too" We both chuckle. "Everything that happened to me here was so unexpected. I mean a year ago I'd never thought I would even move. I was just a loner that got bullied by everyone in new york.",I say. "Everything is alot better now. Even if I was stuck in a freaking other dimension.",I add. "Yeah im still not over that but since you are here,everything got better. I dont even care about Troy or any other bully anymore. I have you and the others from the party.",Mike says. "Do you have your Walkman with you?",I ask. Mike seems confused but nods then. I stand up and grab my backpack from my bike and then his. I sit back down and hand him his backpack. We both get our walkmans out and I hand him a mixtape.We put the headphones on and start the mixtape. 'Head over Heels' starts playing. Me and Mike smile at each other as we sing along quietly.
"Oh you're wasting my time.You're just,just,just wasting time. Something happens and Im head over heels..."
Thats when a similar frog jumps infront of Mikes feet. I look at Mike:"Dustin!" He chuckles. "You know what {y/n}?",he says. "Hm?" "I think we are destined to be together",he says giggling a little. "Destined huh?",I ask also giggling a little "Yeah Destined",Mike says with an huge grin. ...
