☾︎As the Title says, the person who is me suddenly finds herself in her favorite anime show; Demon Slayer after she had died in the real world. Now she starts a journey to every time period that was mentioned in the show.☽︎
☾︎That's the short versi...
Kibō has trained not only her stamina, speed, strength and swordsmanship, but also her Japanese. She always learned her Japanese after being done with the training. Now the girl understood Japanese so good that her mind automatically translated it to English.
Kanae and Shinobu were fascinated by her fast adapting to the new language and decided to no longer stress themselves with speaking English in front of her.
It has been around one year and she knew that the day that Kanao was adopted only neared. But just as she was thinking about it–
" Kibō, do you want to join us on our trip to the city? "
Kibō stood silent for a few seconds before answering Kanae's question.
" Sure, I'd be happy to accompany you. "
Kibō went to her room and put on her getas, a light violet yakuta, matching with a west-like overall and a haori. Ofcourse she still kept her trustworthy trousers on and quickly checked her looks in the mirror :

' ... I sure did change within the year... Did I always look like a boy? '
Kibō silently checked her new appearance and accepted the fact that she looked a bit boy-ish.
" Kibō ! Are you alright in there ?! "
" Yes, don't worry. I'm already finished. "
Said Kibō as she exited her room through the Shoji door to face a waiting Shinobu.
' Now that I think about it... I've grown a lot too... But I do have all the excessive things needed to strengthen the growth. Exercise, Stretching, Healthy Food, Sleep and so on... My 'Genetics' help a lot too. After all, I made this DNA myself. '
As Kibō thought about her new appearance and height, Shinobu and Kanae already exited the house. Kibō soon snapped out of it and quickly catched up with the two siblings.
They were just walking on the large wooden bridge as the three suddenly heard a man yell.
" Hey! Someone buy this kid! She’s quiet and well-behaved! You won’t find a better deal! "
The sudden yelling caught their attention. Concerned Kanae whispered something to the others, after seeing the conditions Kanao was in.
" Look at that poor girl over there... "
They approached the man and Kanae, being the social butterfly she is, calmly asked –
" How could you sell a child like this? "
" What’s the problem? I’m just trying to make a living. If you’re not interested, keep moving. "
The older guy replied sounding a bit angry and annoyed.
Ignoring the man, Kanae knelt to Kanao's Height and softly asked –
" I'm Kanae Kocho. What’s your name? "
Kanao did not respond and looked at the ground.
" Sister, she’s not reacting to anything. She looks like she’s given up… on everything. "
Shinobu said concerned about the lack of words and emotions coming from the tied up girl.
Kibō felt a little left out and decided to finally say something.
" Kanae-sama, should we buy her? Maybe, she'll open up to us. "
" That's a great idea, Kibō-san. How much for her? "
Shinobu said and turned to the bald guy.
" It's a special deal, only ¥1000. "
" Very well then, here you are. "
Kanae said and handed the man ¥1000.
' Thankfully, we didn't make a scene like in the anime. '
After the encounter the four went back to the estate and Kanae bathed the new sister. After that, she got a new yakuta and just sat there as Shinobu frustratingly tried to get Kanao to eat.
Kibō pretty much knew what happened and waited for the scene to end. Something bothered her though. She had the feeling that the story will change and not by her hand.
She ignored the feeling and went to bed after preparing herself. She then tried thinking about Final Selection and distracted herself from the weird thoughts. Final Selection was in a few days and she had to prepare, after all she was participating and the sisters had a good feeling.
