The sunbeams soon got over the horizont and lit up the area, enough for the morning to be declared.
Kibō walked down the almost flat surface of the mountain and passed by a person she hasn't talked to yet but really wanted to; Aoi Kanzaki.
She approached the girl, but not before attaching the Kitsune mask on the side of her head.
" Hello, are you also heading back? "
" Ah, yes. I am. Why? "
" I wanted to know if I could head there with you. It's quite boring going alone. "
" Sure, I don't mind. "
They walked down the mountain together and Kibō decided to start a small talk.
" So, what's your name? "
" My name is Aoi Kanzaki. And what is your's? "
" I'm Kibō Burōkuru. Nice to meet you, Kanzaki-san. "
" It's also nice to meet you, Burōkuru-san. But you can just call me Aoi. No need to be so formal. "
" Then I'll return the favor. You can also just call me Kibō, Aoi. "
" What are your hobbies, Kibō? "
" Oh, I like sweets, animals, drawing, (etc.). "
With that both soon-to-be demon slayers walked down the now not so demon infested mountain to where the wisteria trees blossomed again.

After a little while they arrived at the entrance and exit of the forest and also where the wisteria trees were. Kibō could already see Muichiro from where he- I mean she stood.
" Let's part ways from here on. I hope we'll see each other again someday. "
Kibō said to Aoi.
