3rd POV After the dispute with the wolves was resolved thanks to Jacob and Leah imprinting on Renesmee and EJ respectively, Edward sat by a changing Bella's beside and waited for her to wake up.
Edward refused to leave her and completely ignored his 'children'.
For the next three days Leah and Rosalie took care of the twins with Esme, Jasper, and Emmett assisting the duo. Jacob tried to help care for his imprint, but both Leah and Rosalie's overprotective maternal instincts scared him and forced him to keep his distance.
The three days honestly felt closer to 3 centuries for Rosalie and Leah. The female duo developed a deep bond and felt as if EJ and Renesmee were their children, not Bella and Edward's.
Unfortunately, the hybrid twin's growths were abnormally fast. After their first night of being in the real world, they grew 1 month overnight. The second they grew two more months. Then the 3rd night they grew to 6 months old.
Leah and Rosalie were afraid that the twins wouldn't stop growing and that they would have very short lives.
A fear that broke their hearts.
EJ's POV I sat in Leah's arms, contently eating breakfast of formula and blood mixture. Today was the day that Bella woke up, and neither Rosalie or Leah were pleased. They worried about our safety.
Not that I blame them.
Our 'mother' was literally wolf in sheep's clothing.
I glanced at Carlie who was being fed by Rosalie. If I was being honest, Leah and Rose felt more like our parents than anyone else.
Carlie looked at me and I knew that she felt the same.
Renesmee's POV After breakfast, Eddie and I were taken to get dressed by our mommies.

We were taken downstairs and our mommies sat in the living room with us on their laps. They played hands with us while we waited for the tomb to wake up.
We were so distracted that we almost missed the sound of a heartbeat stopping.
