Please note that the following story differs from the original. To be specific, this story diverges from the canon events following the rescue of Alexia Midgard. During her subsequent conversation with Cid (The MC), she asks him if he'd date her for real and canonically he immediately refuses in such a way that she lashed out by cutting his chest open with her sword. What if he didn't refuse? What if, in that moment, he decided to test whether there could be something even more fun than being a background character?

This is Book 2 of the ongoing fanfic series...

This story is Rated M for Mature and is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. Per the content guidelines, all primary characters such as Alpha, Cid, Alexia, the Named Numbers, potential love interests, etc. have been aged up as canonically, at the start of the story the vast majority of the core characters are 15.

Content included are, but not limited to, the following:

Romance: Particularly scenes and settings depicting ALL aspects of romance (including sex).

Action: Blood for the blood god!

Other Mature Themes: Sexual harassment, Genocide, Trafficking, Drugs, Xenophobia, Abuse and more.

Apart from scenes such as those, it will also touch on other areas such as personality disorders (similar to bipolar disorder, for example) and other aspects which some might find a little...jarring, I suppose.

N.B. - Unlike most of my books, this book is not Yuri/GL focused as the MC is a male. That said, there might still be the occasional Yuri scene depending on the characters involved and where each of their stories progresses.

P.S. - Spoiler warning for those who have yet to watch the anime, including some aspects of Season 1 and all of Season 2.

Please note that to permit the content within this book to maintain some level of realism, the character of Cid needs to be changed somewhat. This is to say that his motives for doing what he does need to be altered a bit to allow for what we'll explore here. This also means that he won't necessarily be the completely ignorant guy he is canonically and will, eventually, realise the connection between all he's been doing and the events playing out in the world amongst other things.

This book contains NTR (Not for Cid).

*It's more referring to his relationship with multiple women at once. For example, he may date Rose and Alexia at the same time which (unless consensually an open relationship between all three parties) would make it a case of cheating and thus classifiable as NTR.
