Lycaon isn't much of a fan about pets, he's too demanding with the attention you give him. He thinks that if you two got a pet you would ignore him to play with it, something he would not allow.

In case you adopted one, it would be anything except a cat, he would be fine with a dog, a bird, literally anything, but not a cat. He doesn't get along with them not only because of natural instinct, but because he has the usual thought of you getting scratched because of one.

In any way, he'll start to look at you like everything is fine, but out of your sight he sends glares at the little animal for stealing the attention Lycaon wants.

- ... -

During a walk around Lumina Square, there were a herd of dogs passing by around the streets, meanwhile you and Lycaon were going out to see a sunset.

-It's getting kinda cold in here, winter seems to be approaching quicker now. - You said, softly trembling upon the freezing winds.

-It does seem like it, the clouds are turn more and more grey by the second, i suggest we go home before it starts pouring. - Lycaon agreed, as he gave you his jacket so you wouldn't catch a cold.

As they walked along a dimly lit path, they heard a noise in the distance, the soft sound of footsteps and barks that broke the night's silence.

-Did you hear that? - You asked, curiosly.

Lycaon nodded. - Yes, there seems to be something ahead.

As they approached cautiously, they discovered a herd of wild dogs moving among streets, playing around with eachother or cuddling. The pack stopped when they noticed the presence of you and Lycaon, but they showed no signs of aggression. Instead, they approached slowly, sniffing both of you.

One of the dogs, a large, furry gray wolf, approached Lycaon, and looked at him with warm eyes. Lycaon, surprised but not afraid, crouched down and offered the palm of his hand. The wolf licked his hand gently, as if he knew they posed no danger. The dogs began to surround them with a kind of friendly curiosity, creating an atmosphere of calm and connection.

-It's like these dogs know we're here to enjoy the night. - You said quietly, as your gaze locked on the wolf's eyes.

They stayed there for a while, enjoying the company of the dogs and the serenity of the night. It was starting to get darker and colder, so they waved goodbye at the herd and walked back to home.

At the end of the walk, Lycaon took your hand and looked at you with a smile. - That was one of a funny night.

You pressed his hand and smiled. - Yeah, i didn't expect them to like you that much, i guess you are kinda family to them.

- Maybe, or it was your charmness that made them approach us. - Lycaon teased you as he gave you a little kiss on your head.

- Is that so? - You giggled mischievously. - We could adopt a pet this weekend, what do you think?

Lycaon seemed hesitant for a few moments, then he spoke. - Are you sure you would like that? A pet requires a lot of time and attention.

Hmm, yeah, it will need some care, but we'll have a lot time, i promise. - You responded, caressing his hand reassuring those words.

- If you say so, then we'll go adopt a little dog, sounds good?

- Mhm! - You nodded, as you rested your head on Lycaon's arm (since he was too tall you couldn't reach his shoulder so meh), you left a little yawn as you too went back to your warm, lovely home.
