   ♤~ Demon Yae Miko, modern au, and swearing. This is part two. F/n= friends name.~♤

   If looks could kill, yours would be the definition.
   "Hey now, don't look at me like that Y/n!" Your friend said.
   "I'm sorry how do you want me to look at you potential murderer." You glared at them even more.
   "It was a joke! We were just curious as if there really was a demon inside of it or not." F/n tried to explain thereself.
   Sipping a drink you remained silent. How did they even talk you into coming to hang out with them after they had tried to kill you?
   "We haven't seen you in weeks. We had started to worry a demon had actually appeared. I was concerned so I invited you out."
   "Wow actually a demon did appear and she's super sexy, living with me, and I may have feelings for her." You deadpanned.
   They stared at you in shock.
   "Joking dumbass."
   They laughed awkwardly.
   There was no way in hell you were telling them the truth. Who knows what they would do if they found out there was a demon in your house, right at that moment matter of fact. Besides Yae Miko was your secret demon crush. Back off F/n and find your own. Maybe you had neglected your friends a little, but it wasn't the easiest thing, living with a demon and trying to keep them a secret. It took awhile to get used to it. When you had got the message from F/n asking you too hang out, you really didn't want to (that may or may not have had to do with the fact that you woke up to Yae Miko sleeping in your bed with her arms wrapped very tightly around you), but you figured if you didn't go they would just show up at your house and it wasn't as if you could hide a sleeping Yae Miko in the closet.
   Seriously, you and Yae Miko decided that if anyone showed up unannounced, she was going to hide in a closet. Anxiety wormed its way inside your heart every time you thought about someone finding out about her.
   The rest of the hang out went by relatively quickly. Your thoughts kept going back to Yae Miko and how she was doing. Was it normal to be so worried over a literal demon? Probably not, but you couldn't help it. After making F/n pay, as punishment, you hurried towards your home, eager to see your demon housemate.

   The door opened and closed quickly, as you rushed inside.
   "Miko?" You called out.
   "Your home little human." Yae Miko stepped out from the kitchen.
   Ever since you made her her first meal here, she has been obsessed with human food, and how its made. More than one night you have woken up to find her rummaging in your kitchen, or stupidly trying to make the food. It's a miracle she hasn't accidentally burned down your house yet.
   "How was your outing with the other human?"
   "I mean it was kind of interesting? I got asked on a date." You answered.
   Oh the way home from your hang out with F/n, a random guy had come up to you said you looked nice and asked if you would like to go out with him. He wouldn't let you leave without him giving you his phone number. Not that you planned to ever use it.
   "No."
   "Huh? What do you mean no?" That wasn't even a question, It was a statement.
   "I mean, your going to say no. You want to know why? Because you are mine." Yae Miko whispered into your ear, appearing behind you with both her hands on your shoulders.
   Ack! How did she even get behind you so fast?! She was standing by the kitchen! Not to mention she had called you hers. Oh dear, your were going to get heatstroke.
   "Hmm? Is everything alright darling?" She hummed, still very close to you.
   Her nails were lightly digging into your shoulder.
   "Nope! None at all Yae Miko!" You assured her quickly.
   You were very much panicking in the inside however. But in a good way. Yae Miko was a rather attractive demon after all. Weren't you lucky she wanted to keep you all for herself.
   "Good girl." She patted you on the head which reminded you of when the two of you met.
   It seemed like such a long time ago. When in reality it had only been a few weeks. Maybe time has moved by at a different rate for you since you spent all your days looking after Yae Miko, and teaching her things. One day you wanted to take her outside under the pretense that she was a human. She had told you she can look human with her demon magic. But first you had to teach her some basic human things so no one would get suspicious or think she was retarded. It was a fantasy of yours to show her off to other people. A secret selfish desire to rub her in others faces, when she was yours and only yours.
   One day, but not today. Soon though. She was a very quick learner.
   "Your lost in thought darling. What are you thinking about?" Yae Miko asked you, moving in front of you.
   "You."
   She smiled and booped your nose.
   "Who knew you humans could be such flattering creatures! I rather like it."
   "Well in that case, im suprised that demons can be so nice."
   She laughed lightly. "Not all demons. I'm nice to you because I find myself enjoying your presence Y/n."
   She tilted your face back with a finger. You wordlessly stared into her eyes, they were so pretty to you. Ah... why was she so close? Did she enjoy teasing you this much?
   "Your so adorable Y/n." She smirked.
   Soft and warm lips pressed against your forehead. Her arms encircled your waist pulling you close. Her smile stayed as the two of you stayed like that. Eventually you brought up your arms and wrapped them around her neck. It was ironic how calming it was, being in a demons embrace. Well not just any demon. Your demon.
