We see everyone at the hospital waiting for the doctor to talk about Ricos' condition.
Mario: (Paces)
SMG4: Don't worry, man. I'm sure he's okay.
Mario: ... Right...
The doctor came out.
Doctor: He'd like to see you all. Especially you, Mario.
Mario: ... Thank you.
They then walked into the room and saw he was awake.
Mario: Hey, Rico... we're sorry about what happened... I'm sorry... I let you get hurt.
Rico: Heh... don't be down on yourself, lad. You didn't know. And I'm fine. And I just need one final check-up, then I can go home.
SMG4: Good to know, man. Where did you get shot?
Rico: Just in the arm. Thankfully, ink can't kill. It isn't real bullets.
Mario: That's a relief.
Rico: Yeah, but it hurts like hell. Other than that, I'm okay.
Mario: ... Got it... (Gets idea) Hey, Rico... if you want to... tomorrow, if you ain't busy... wanna hang out with us?
Rico: ... Let's see... crazy as he'll adventures with the hero of the mushroom kingdom and his friends... meeting and reuniting with old and new enemies... and risk-taking... yeah! Sounds awesome!
Mario: Really?! Great!!!
Rico: In the meantime, I'm gonna rest. Goodnight, guys.
Everyone else: Goodnight, Rico.
The others leave... except one.
Mario: ... Heh... Welcome to the SMG4 crew, man.
Rico: ... Heh. Thanks, dude.
Mario then leaves as Rico gets some sleep.
