Crowley's golden eyes slowly blinked open, tentatively exploring his surroundings. For a second, he did not know where he was, and began to panic. Then he felt a hand on his hip, warm breath on his neck, and he cuddled into his angel. Wherever he was, the demon knew that he was always safe around Aziraphale.

The memories of the previous day flooded back into Crowley's mind in glorious colour. Moving in with the angel, having sex with the angel, snuggling in bed with the angel. He wanted to stay like this for ever.

But something was still wrong, although Crowley couldn't put his finger on it. Something wasn't quite the way it usually was. He lifted his head off the pillow with some effort and looked around, his gaze settling on the angel's face. Then it hit him. Aziraphale was asleep.

Smiling to himself, Crowley lay back down, rolled over, and playfully nibbled on Aziraphale's bottom lip. He woke with a start, and the demon whispered, "Good morning, Angel."

Aziraphale was confused. "I—" he mumbled, his speech incoherent.

"You fell asleep," Crowley explained, grinning. "I must've really tired you out last night."

The angel leaned forward to kiss Crowley on the nose. "You did," he admitted. "But also... it's just comforting, being next to you. It makes me feel so relaxed." He looked embarrassed.

"I feel the same," Crowley replied. "I hope it's not too soon to say this but... well, I love you, Angel." His voice trailed off.

"I love you too." Crowley looked up into Aziraphale's eyes, which were shimmering. "I've never felt this way before."

"I have. I've felt this way about you for six thousand years."

"Oh, Crowley." The demon pulled Aziraphale in for another kiss, but the angel wriggled away, out of bed. "Come on, Crowley, dear, time to get up!"

"No-o-o," he whined. "Too cold. Too sleepy."

"Well," the angel tutted. "Come here."

Crowley obeyed, inching his way across the bed. Aziraphale wrapped him up in a blanket, then picked him up, carrying him bridal-style. The demon wrapped his arms around his neck, nuzzling into his chest contentedly. After they had gone downstairs, Aziraphale gently set Crowley onto the couch, tucking him up carefully.

While Crowley drifted off on the sofa, Aziraphale went into the kitchen to make them breakfast. He returned with a steaming mug of strong coffee for Crowley and toast, honey, and tea for himself. Aziraphale sat down on the couch and was immediately snuggled by the demon, who grabbed him by the waist and wrapped both arms firmly around his middle. Crowley wouldn't move even to drink his coffee, so Aziraphale held the cup while he sipped. The angel pretended to be exasperated but they both knew he was enjoying it.

Next Aziraphale turned to his own breakfast. To his surprise, Crowley gave the honey spread an experimental lick with his forked tongue before nibbling on a slice. "Do you want your own?" the angel inquired.

"Nah. I just want to steal yours." Aziraphale squeezed Crowley's hand affectionately and put an arm around him. "Come under the blanket with me," the demon said playfully. Aziraphale obliged, and Crowley climbed on top of him, their legs intertwined.

Crowley kissed Aziraphale's mouth before moving his lips down his neck, causing the angel to let out a little moan of pleasure. The demon's hands were beginning to wander, Aziraphale was running his fingers through Crowley's hair, making him sigh involuntarily, and both of them were removing their clothes and—

The shop door swung open.

Startled, the pair sprung apart, panting and their cheeks burning red. Crowley poked his head out from under the blanket to see Nina staring at them, fascinated.

"Hello," she said, smirking.

"Hi," squeaked Crowley. "Uh, what are you doing here?"

Nina's smile broadened. "Is Mr Fell under there?" Aziraphale emerged, blushing furiously. "I just came over to see if you wanted any leftover Eccles cakes, but I can see you're busy." The angel turned an even deeper shade of scarlet before ducking underneath the blanket again.

"We're fine, thanks," muttered Crowley.

"I'm glad you and Mr Fell are getting along so well."

"Yup."

Nina spun around and hurried out of the shop. "It's safe to come out now, Angel," Crowley grinned.

Aziraphale sheepishly removed the blanket. "I'm sorry," he fretted. "I just— being caught like that, I'm a bit embarrassed.

"Well, she's gone now." Aziraphale understood, winding his hands around Crowley's hips and pulling him down.

"I could kiss you forever, Crowley," he whispered.

"Go on, then." Their lips met and neither one seemed inclined to stop.
