hey you guys :) I'd really appreciate some feedback, literally anything :')

“Cecil… what happened?” Eve asked him.

It had been a while since I'd been at Guardians headquarters. Barely anything had changed. Except for all the blood on the floor. This was a massacre. I couldn't find any other word to explain what I was looking at.

“We don't know. Someone cut the camera and the backup.”

“Are there any survivors?” I stared at all the blood on the floor. By the looks of it, no one could've survived here.

“Omni Man is still alive.”

Omni Man?

“What was he doing here?”

“We don't know. Working theory is whoever called the Guardians, lured him here.”

I nodded a couple of times, trying to process my thoughts and the visuals surrounding me. “What do you want me to do, Cecil?”

“Immortal. We patched him up. We think that with your help we might be able to bring him back. There's not much we can do for the rest of the Guardians.” He stared down at the floor.

“Okay, where is he? I wanna help.”

“Come with me.” Donald said and started walking towards the door.

I didn't know for how long we were walking until he showed us to a door. He pressed a couple of keys and the it opened. A wave of cold air hit me but I couldn't see anything. It was only white.

What is this?

“Donald, I can't see anything.”

“Right…lights.”

Within a second the lights turned off… or on and I was able to see the room we had entered. There were a lot of medical instruments here. I had no idea what those were for. Three doctors stood around the Immortal working on him. One of them turned their head to face me.

“We were able to get his heart beating a few times. He won't bleed out, we have clamped the damaged veins for that. Here's what we're gonna need you to do once his heart starts beating again: you'll have to try to heal him enough so that we can stabilize him with just the hospital equipment.”

“Alright.” I breathed in and out heavily.

“You can do this.” Eve barely whispered, a supporting hand on my shoulder.

I walked over to Immortal’s body. I still could see the parts they had patched up on him. His stomach was sewn as well as his head.

“I'm gonna charge up the defibrillator. You need to stay clear of his body.”

I only nodded.

“Charging to 200.”

“Clear!”

Nothing happened. The monitor next to him only showed one spike.

“Again.”

“Clear.”

Nothing again.

“Charging to 250.”

“Clear!”

I saw one big spike and then a few small ones. The monitor started beeping.

I quickly put my hands on Immortal's upper arm. He was cold to the touch.

I felt the way his spine had been torn apart, part of his bowels and liver had been completely ripped out. And he was decapitated by something.

“Argh.” I groaned.
