chapter 3 (part 2): outbreak

2011 may 14th.. the day of the outbreak

Back at the amusement park. The thousands of flesh worms joey was being held together by slowly put him back together and reformed him. As he stood up he slowly walked off into the woods where he had a pile of thousands of different animals skeletons. He mushed them together with the rotting flesh of the scientist. As he coughed up thousands of flesh worms. As flesh worms (once burrowed in flesh) can multiply instantly into more flesh worms. The flesh worms melted into the giant blob. As joey crunched hundreds of skeletons and bones together into a large mush. He made a giant flesh worm that is solely made of bone mush and flesh worms. He made it nearly 100 feet long and about 20 feet high. As millions upon billions of flesh worms jumped out of joey making a deadly yet fuzzy outer shell on the bottom and the top for movement and some on the sides for more strength and danger. He had now created the GOD WORM.

2011 may 31st. Felix parked his car outside of the abandoned dalim mall. Him and Liam got and start walking to the entrance. "So. Do you even have a plan on how to break into the lab from here" Liam asked. "Well I brought a crow bar for you and an axe for me. You break open the gate. I break down any locked doors. Or kill potential danger. Incase that creature you were talking about is really following you" Felix responded calmly. "If it is we are literally screwed" Liam responded seriously
"I have a shotgun and a flame thrower in the trunk, if anything you'll be bait while I burn it down" Felix responded jokingly "Luckily it won't be here anyway" Felix chuckled while he spoke

They arrive at the broken down dalim lab. Felix hands Liam the crow bar as he breaks the gate open and crawls under it. They snuck in and Felix turned on his flashlight and made his way to the back room. Despite it being mostly destroyed. And the roof was literally crumbling. They ducked under a broken wall slab. As Felix found hundreds of jars of blood. And in the back of the building. He saw joey "THATS THE CREATURE I WAS TALKING ABOUT" Liam shouted alarmingly as Felix quickly impaled it's head with his axe and quickly ran back out with his axe. He dashed to his car and got the shotgun. He only had 5 bullets. He hit all in the head which caused it to fall back. He reached for the flame thrower but it tackled him. Liam threw back and burned it slightly but he was out of fuel as he didn't expect and actual creature to be there. He dashed up to the 3rd floor to lead the creature up.. as Felix and the creature fought. Felix was able to throw it over the bars downards but It quickly lunged back up at him. Liam quickly smashed it's head in with the crowbar and then used the back of it to impale joey in the throat. It grabbed him with his flesh and threw Liam over down from the top floor all the way down. Felix quickly jumped over and grabbed him. He used his axe to smash it into the wall as to not fall down. He then grabbed a nearby rooftop ventilation pipe and Liam grabbed the axe and launched himself back onto the third floor and impaled the creature. He then launched it down as Felix smashed it's head in with the crowbar. Felix then climbed  back up.. as they ran back down the stairs felix quickly used his axe to knock down a support beam of the mall which collapsed onto the creature. Pinning it down and smashing it. Felix dashed back to the car and started it up. As he sped home. Liam came back to Felix's house as they tried to figure out what that thing was and how to kill it for good. As they were doing research.

Liam then went home to have a good day's rest.

May 15th the outbreak

As Liam and Felix head out to the mall their gps glitch and took a wildly incorrect route and they entered the snowier areas of verdania (the fake country this takes place in.) As they were looking for the mall they came across a small crashed space rocket. They broke the hinges down and they came across a dead body in the freezer with it's arm chopped off in the door. However something black was leaking in the ship. They immediately sealed it back up and left. "Well. Now what?" Felix asked. "I don't know. We didn't plan for this.." Liam responded.
They headed back to the car as they checked GPS again and it still was glitch severely."well I guess we just wait for it come back. It's probably just a small error in the system" Felix sighed. As he started up the car and slowly drove away from the arctic.

Back in dalim.

The so called god worm was slowly edging closer to town as tons of news cars and police cars circled it. It stopped moving. But they didn't notice joey. As he went out of forest and broke down the local farmer Michael's door. He went unnoticed and creeped into the attic as Michael wasn't home.
