Chapter 1- Christopher

It was a normal day for Chan. He was about to go with his friend and have some fun after these long exams and lessons. Walking down the street, he caught a student in a blue uniform, meaning he was a freshman, and Chan being the great junior approached the boy.
"Hey, need any help?"
"Oh, yes" said the boy bowing down as Chan was older than him-evident by the brown uniform he was wearing-
"Could you tell me where is the shopping mall" he looked at Chan who was thinking. He does go to mall but he never pays any attention to the way there as it's like an autopilot for him
"Ummm.....How are you planning to go there?"
"By bus"
'Even worse' tought Chan as he always take his car to go to school and other places so his never been on bus. Nonetheless he still gave his best to tell the younger which is the right way
"So.... ummmm you take the bus and go for about 3 stations and when you see the car wash add you go down and walk west for about 15 minutes and there you have it!"
Said Chan.
"Oh, okay thank you!" the boy bowed and took the next bus not reading where was the bus going to stop.

Chan went on his day and met with his friends. They were going to the coffee shop near the school and later go to the arcade.

Chan was first one to arrive to the shop so he went out and ordered for everyone. Soon enough the boys came. First was Han than Lee know and Felix along side Changbin and Seungmin who was on the phone with theirs youngest Jeongin who will be late.
They sat at the table Chan reserved and started talking. Jeongin was now with them so they've decided to go to the arcade. Chan went ahead and payed for the food as the rest were still sitting and the tabel discussing which games are they playing first but before they could leave TV on the wall was suddenly interrupted with bad news

"Young male was found dead at the bottom of the Han river bridge. The body hasn't been identified yet but if anyone knows please report to the authorities. The man is suspected to be around 18 years old and was wearing a blue uniform, he has a mole under his left eye and black hair neck long. He was wearing a golden neckless with Lily and Maria in printed in the middle- most likely to be family-"
the news went on and everyone in the cafe looked at the screen, some even whispering at the tragedy. Chan went to sit at the table when the TV flashed again

"-The man has been identified as Sam. Police still can't find his identity fully but based on the uniform he was wearing it seem like he was a freshman in Hangjoul university for talented and passionate where he was last seen. If anyone knows about please tell the authorities. Thank you and enjoy rest of your evening. More on Afternoon news"
The boys looked at each other.
"That's our school" said the youngest as he looked to the TV where there was still picture of the kid. Chan noded, that was indeed there school and now looking at the picture he widened his eyes-that was the boy he gave directions to earlier.
"I think I know him"
they all looked at Chan mouth agap
"Huh?" asked or more like hummed Seungmin
"Yeah I was him today and even gave him detections to the mall" said Chan looking to his lap.
"What a small and unfair world. I mean look at him he was so pretty and he looks so happy in that picture" said Felix as he was looking sad even tho he didn't know that guy he felt like he was really good and kind
"Yeah.....such a small world..." muttered Chan as they were leaving, silence around them as they still tought about the news. As they were walking Han took his phone out and looked at the news on this phone
"Couse of death most likely was strangle while walking back home" he read out loud
"Han can you stop-" Changbin was cut of as Han continued
"Police found his clothes messed and pants half pulled down, the body was covered in saliva and teeth marks along side blood under his nails as he was fighting back from being assaulted"
he read and looked at the rest
"You mean he was raped?" Jeongin looked at his Hyungs, tears threatening to fall any minute now. They looked around and decided to sit down and have a talk with each other and not to bring this topic anymore. They departed and went home.

Chan went home that night thinking it was his fault for the kids murder as he probably gave him wrong directions. Feeling guilty Chan went to sleep early and thought about the boy.

Chan woked up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and tears as he had a nightmare. He looked at his clock and it read 2:47 Chan groaned and tought about his dream

The next morning Chan packed his things and left for school. When he got there it was all quiet even the brightest student didn't smile today and that caught Chan's attention.
"Sunoo, are you okay?"
"Oh Chan hyung. No, not really" he said as he slightly bowed to Chan as he was older that him.
"Is it about...you know?" Chan didn't want to say the boys name mostly because he didn't know the boy
"Ahh.. yes"
"Was he your friend?" Chan was curious about how they knew each other as Sunoo was junior and the boy was a freshman.
"Oh no, no....he came here a week ago and teacher assigned me to show him around the school and to get him schedule, but he was really sweet and kind, he helped me a lot with maths and english so I'm just sad someone like him left so early" said the boy now looking at Chan
"Well I'm sorry to hear that"
"Thank you. Now I have to go but hope to see you soon" Sunoo wawed and turned around to go to his class
Chan also went to his class and was about to enter when he saw a girl crying. He went to help her
"Excuse me?"
"Y-yeah?"said the girl sobbing trying ti keep her self from fallin apart
"What happened?" he asked sitting down next to her not caring if he was late to his class
"Oh just....my brother...he-he was.." Chan tought the worst 'Could it be the boy they found yesterday'
"He was admitted to hospital today because of his panic attack" she composed her self and continued
"Oh my, is he gonna be alright?"
"Y-yeah t-hey say he will recover and go home tomorrow night" she said whipping her tears away
"Well that's nice to hear, now should you go and get him something when his back?"
"Yes that's a great idea, thank you hyung!"
She go up and left with smile on her face as she will buy him the best gift ever.
Chan smiled to that and went his way.
When he entered the class was quite and he apologised to his teacher for being late and sat with Lee Know who has the same class with him.
"What took you so long?"
"I saw some old friends and tought to go see what they've been up to"
Chan looked at Lee Know who was also called Minho from time to time. The class went on and the rest of the day was boring to Chan so he thought to call Changbin and Han to go with him on a walk and clear their heads.

Time went on and everybody moved on from the boy and incident as police came clear about the murder and arrested him.
