Hello to the 70 people who read this. This chapter is very sad. It's based on an experience I've had multiple times and inspired by a song by SkyDxddy and Citizen Solider called "Heavy". I made my own twist where Ahsoka gets the happy ending I never got. ENJOYYYYYY. Also, Ahsoka wasn't Anakin's padawan YET in the AU. They knew each other and thennnnnnn Ahsoka becomes his padawan. ANNNNDDDD Ahsoka is 16 when she becomes his Padawan, so like season 5 of TCW.

Ahsoka was left alone. She didn't have many friends and when she did--they would always neglect her feeling and emotions. "You're too sad all the time." they would tell her. It was either that or they disappeared entirely. She didn't know why. Ahsoka wasn't too sad. Well, her diagnosis would disagree. She was diagnosed with depression a few weeks before. It made sense. Ahsoka was taken from her home at three years old and became a child soldier. She did have a lot of trauma.

Anakin Skywalker saw the little a little girl sitting down outside the Jedi Temple, her knees pushed against her chest. She knew he was watching her. "Hey, Ahsoka. Are you okay...?" Anakin wondered. Ahsoka turned away from him, trying to hide her tears. "Anakin. I wanna be alone." she muffled in her legs. Anakin rolled his eyes at the youngling. She couldn't call him Master because he wasn't granted that ranking, nor was he her master. Ahsoka softly sobbed into her knees. Anakin sat down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. To his surprise, Ahsoka didn't push him away. "You wanna talk?" he whispered. Ahsoka cried into her knees again. "Why does everyone keep leaving me? What did I do wrong?" her voice was pained. It hurt Anakin to see someone be so hurt. Even if he didn't know this person well. "Ahsoka. Listen to me," he said, turning around to face Ahsoka. She didn't wanna see him at all. Anakin made her. Her eyes were red from all the crying. "those idiots--they mean nothing. I can't even tell you how kind and amazing you are. Even if they don't see it--I can see it." he comforted. Anakin opened his arms, an offer if Ahsoka needed. She was still crying. She didn't know him that well, but right in front of her was comfort when she needed it. Ahsoka embraced him. "S-since when i-is not being h-happy all the time u-unbearable?" she felt like screaming so loudly. "Nobody likes me, Anakin. Everybody hates everything about me and I don't know why." she exclaimed, her voice dry. She wanted to cry. So that's what she did.

Anakin just held her. "You're okay, Ahsoka. I promise-"
"But I'm--"
"You will be. You may not be okay right now, but you will be later, alright? C'mon. Let's go for a walk." Anakin suggested, leaving the embrace and standing up. He saw that Ahsoka went back to her initial form, knees against her chest. She didn't to get up and Anakin couldn't make her. That's what she thought. But she thought wrong. Anakin held out his prosthetic hand to Ahsoka. "Let's go for a walk. I can bring Rex or Obi-Wan if you want--" Ahsoka interrupted, kind of rudely. "Just you." Anakin wasn't expecting that. "Huh?" "Just you. I wanna walk with just you." she muttered, finally taking Anakin's hand to help her up. "C'mon. Where do you wanna go?" he asked, patting Ahsoka on the Montrals. She took his hand off. "First off, no touching the Montrals, Skyguy, Second--" Anakin stopped in his tracks. He looked at Ahsoka with a side eye. "What did you just call me? Don't get snippy with me." that's when he thought of a nickname of her, preparing to use it for future situations. Ahsoka groaned, growing even more comfortable with Anakin by the moment. She was looking at her nails while Anakin kept blabbing on about the crazy things Obi-Wan said. "Skyguy? Can I finish my sentence?" she dramatically cried. Anakin nodded, chuckling at her. "Second, I wanna go see an old friend. His name is Nyx." he had been talking to Ahsoka for only a couple minutes, but Anakin already wanted to beat up this Nooks guy. "Who's this Nooks?" Ahsoka chuckled, raising an eye marking. "What did you just say? Did you say...Nooks?" Anakin nodded while Ahsoka was laughing as hard as she could.

"Nyx." Ahsoka corrected.
"Nooks."
"Nyx--you know what? Fine, Nooks. Anyway, we're gonna go to the lower levels of Coruscant to see him, he's a mechanic--" suddenly Anakin realized they had walked to the speeders. "Hey! I thought we were going for a walk, not a speeder drive." he exclaimed, visually upset. He felt bad because he should've known. They had passed the café, the weaponry shop--and they were already headed to where Anakin parked his speeder. He sighed. "Fine. Come one, we're gonna go to...wait, which level of Coruscant? 1313 right?" Ahsoka nodded.

Anakin knew he would be her friend. He already liked her. She was snippy.
