My door was locked and my dad was still there pleading for me to come out. I was in my bathroom looking at the cut across my forehead. Livvy was on her way to come help me pack up my stuff and move in with her. Crap, I thought. With a towel on my forehead I walk out of my bathroom to call Preston.  I dialed his number and he answered.

"Hey, I was just about to leave my house. Is everything okay?" and in that moment I started balling. "oh my gosh what's wrong?"

"everything," I whisper. I don't want to spill my guts to this person, but part of me wants to.

"I'm on my way now," he said. I could hear his keys jingle through the phone.

"No you cant, please don't."  I sniffle up my tears and my phone rings again. Livvy is calling. I merge the calls.

"Hey I'm on my way," Livvy says.

"Who was that?" Preston says.

"Livvy is on the phone with us," I say.

"Oh well if she is coming, I am coming too," Preston said.

"Preston no please don't. The situation is already messed up enough," I said. My dad starts screaming even louder and I scream.

"Livvy get over here he is scaring me!" I yell.

"I'm coming too," Preston said.  At this point I really don't care. The more help to get me out of this hell hole the better. I throw my phone on my bed and fill really dizzy. I fall to the ground and pass out.

I wake up in the back seat of an unknown car.

"What the hell?" I say as I try to get up.

"Hey, I'm taking you to the hospital. Me and Livvy both agreed that you needed stiches, and plus you were passed out on the ground so that freaked us out."

"What about Livvy? My dad?" I ask.

"Livvy is packing up your things, and we think your dad went to bed,"

"What a great first date," I murmur.

"Haha actually there has been worse," Preston said as he turned into the hospital parking lot.

"You know so much about me already though, and I barely know anything about you. And on top of that this is your last night in town and I ruined it. I barely know you and you are taking me to the hospital, and I'm already laying down in the back seat of your car." I said embarrassed. "You probably don't want to hang out with me anymore because of all this and I understand if you want to go. I can check myself into the hospital."

"I know this situation is awkward seeing as though  we only met each other yesterday. But I really do want to get to know you. You're special, and the kind of special I don't want to let go of."

"But like you said we met, yesterday, at a bar I might add. So how would you even know I am special?" I asked as he helped me out of the car.

"My grandfather said once that we all have this moment. A moment when we realize we met someone really special. It said it happens once in your life, he called it a star moment. Of course Star was my grandma's name but I believe him. This may be a little too soon or not the right moment but I'm telling you that I had my star moment with you." He said. I stood the speechless, and then all of a sudden my legs gave up on me and I was falling. Before I could hit the ground Preston caught me and carried me bridal style in the emergency room.

"Help, she hit her head! She's bleeding bad, and I think she needs stitches. She has passed out multiple times..." Preston said, and I couldn't understand anything else that happened because I passed out.

When I came to, I saw three people around my bed. I had and Iv in and multiple tubes were connected. There was one for pain medication, and one for blood.

"What is going on?" I ask with a raspy voice.  Preston, Livvy, and Livvy's mom all stood up when they saw that I was awake.

"You lost so much blood that you needed more," Preston said.

"You have 17 stiches across your head," Livvy said.

"The doctors were waiting for you to wake up so they could take you in for an MRI," Livvy's mom said.

"Can I see my phone?" I ask. Livvy pulls it out of her purse. Its 12:00am and I have three text notifications.

Dillion :* : Hey babe(: I know its late but do you want to come over to watch some movies?

Dad: Where are you? Everything from your room is gone, there is blood all over the room. Are you okay? I am so sorry.

Grandma Betty: Your dad told me what happened. Where are you? Are you okay? He is really freaking out and you need to decide what you are going to do?

I sigh and decide to reply to Dillon. I really do like him, but what about Preston? I like him, but barely know him. Then I think about it, and what do I really know about Dillion? I've know him longer but I I don't really know  him.

Me to Dillion: Im sorry I haven't replied sooner. I am in the hospital don't know when I am leaving.

Me to Dad: If I ever see you again it will be too soon. If you ever come near me I will call the cops.

Me to Grandma Betty: Im at the hospital. I am fine. Dont come people who really care about me are already here. I am moving in with my friend Livvy. I am not going to press charges but I will talk to the cops. If I ever see my dad it will be too soon.

"How did you get everything out of my room? I have a lot of stuff," I asked Livvy.

"We had my dads truck and everyone in my family helped," She said grabbing my hand.

"I am going  to go tell the nurse you're awake," Livvy's mom said as she walked out of the room.

"Well I am going to head out. My plane leaves early tomorrow, I'll text you." Preston said. "I am glad you are awake and okay."

He got up from his chair and move hair out of  my face and kissed my forehead. I got butterflies and looked over at Livvy. Once Preston Closed the door all they way, I decided to tell Livvy that Dillon texted me.

"He said, hey babe(: I know its late but do you want to come over to watch some movies? I don't know what to do. Dillion is always someone I've always wanted, but Preston is so different. Something just draws me to both of them, and now I am caught in between them," I told her.

"Lets talk about this when we get home," She said rubbing my arm. "A lot has happened tonight."

The rest of the night was a blur. The MRI did show that I had a concussion and that for the next 48 hours I had to wake up every three hours, and they prescribed some pain meds. I'll also have to go back in, in two weeks to get my stitches out.
