Life is different now. Living with Livvy is great. It has been almost a month since I moved out of my old house. Preston left for his out of state performance a few days ago he. We have been texting like crazy and I really miss him. I haven't been out of the house at all really except to go hang out with Dillon and Livvy at the local ice cream parlor. I feel like I'm caught in a love triangle and I don't know who to choose. Dillon is someone I have known for years and I feel comfortable around him, but with Preston there is some sort of mysterious edge that just draws me to him. Preston should be getting back today.
"Vivi, you hungry?" I hear Elizabeth yell from the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'll come down and get something!" I get up and check myself in the mirror before I head down the stairs. My hair is up in a messy bun, and I'm in my soccer shorts and one of Liv's concert t-shirts. I stair at my stiches for a moment...17 of them. When I get into the kitchen there is salad and chicken on the island.
"It is make your own salad. I hope you don't mind," Elizabeth said grabbing plates out of the dishwasher. I heard my phone ring and ran upstairs to catch it before it stopped. I found it on the bed and saw who it was. It was Preston. Butterflies started in my stomach.
"Hey!" I said.
"Hey cute stuff," he replied. More butterflies. "We are at the airport now about to board our plane in Chicago. I was wondering if you could pick me up. I have a whole date planned the guys are in on it too so they can't take me home. Dress cute, and be here to pick me up at 5:30."
"Okay - " before I could finish anymore he hung up. I checked the time and it was 11:45. I walked back down stairs to get lunch. I saw my mom - I mean Elizabeth feeding Livvy's youngest sibling JoJo, but we all call her J.
"Elizabeth, Preston is coming home from Florida today and he needs me to pick him up from the airport and he says he has a date planned after. Is it okay that I hang out with him tonight?" I asked.
"Yeah, just be home at a decent hour," she replied. I smiled and found my self outside juggling my soccer ball and Liv was on the tramp jumping with her tow younger brothers. My phone vibrated.

Coach wants to meet at the park for some practice, and captain election. 12:30-2:30 See you there(:
"Hey Liv, I got soccer practice. I'll be back around 2:30-2:45," I shouted. Livvy replied with a simple okay and I ran upstairs and grabbed my bag. Made sure my cleats, guards, and water bottle were in. I strapped in my ball and put my long blonde hair in a ponytail with an under armour headband, I was careful not to touch my stiches. I put new bandage on them my stand strapped my bag around my shoulder and headed downstairs.
"Hey where are you going?" Elizabeth said.
"Soccer practice, be back in two hours!" I yelled. I got to the park and got straight to practice. Sarah, Brooke and a few other people started to run plays with me. As I started to sweat my stiches were bugging me. No one has asked me yet and I am so glad, I don't feel like saying anything. I pushed those memories to the side and focused on soccer. I like to say I am good, but I know I am not the best.
Coach pulled me aside. "Vivienne," He looked uncomfortable. "Is..uh..." He looked at my head.
"They will be out in two weeks. Before our first game. They are not a problem," I said.
"Okay good. I don't know what we would do without you this season," he replied and sent me back out on the field. Coach had us doing ladders on the field for conditioning. He set up a few stations so he could decide our positions. Tryouts were forever ago but he hasn't decided yet.
