Episode 16 - Burn Them

Sebastian carried me bridal style as we walked out from Charles's mansion together, walking oddly slow despite what was about to happen.

Cammie and Carter looked up from the car, brows drawing together in concern.

I saw the mark in my right eye glowing in the reflection of the car window, the only part of me not shadowed. And Sebastian's red eyes were glowing, as well... like they were reflecting light from a lamp.

The flames reflected in my eyes, glowing... burning... hot.

I settled back into myself, the numbness consuming me again.

It's gone... it's all gone.

"Master..." Carter said then, stepping out from their hiding place with the others, "the teenagers."

My lashes lowered. "They were already dead."

"
