REAL LIFE!
SUZUMI AND YUMI were sitting on the kitchen counter. The two athletes had cooked dinner and were discussing the latest news that had happened.
"Shut up, he did not—" "Yes, he did!" Both of them were nearly on the ground. That's how hard they were laughing. "But seriously why did he do that?" The raven haired tilled her head. "How should I know that?"
Yumi looked her friend dead in the eyes. "Suzumi, as much as I love you, you have to tell me the whole story. Because I don't think that I ever saw him that upset in the entire time that I've known him."
"Okay, so you know how we have this tradition—" "Yes, I know your tradition. Come on, tell me the important stuff", her friend whined. "Then don't interrupt me! Anyways, we went to the movie theater and when we finished our film and got out, it started to rain—"
"That's it?" "Yumi!" "Yes, okay. Please continue." She held her hands up in defeat. "Well, then we had to sit at the stairs and wait because he didn't want his clothes to get wet. I said that it was just a quick run to his car and that he probably wouldn't be getting that wet anyway but he kept on being stubborn." She paused a second.
"And then we both sat there, at the stairs, and waited for the rain to stop when some friends from my boarding school came over to us. We've shared a dorm and were pretty good friends until we drifted away. We got into talking and they suggested that I could go with them."
"You said no, right?" Suzumi sighted. "Of course I said no but he was just like "go and leave me alone" and then I left. They dropped me off at our apartment and everything was fine. At least I thought. When he got home, he just walked straight into our bedroom and when I tried to talk to him he just shrugged me off."
Yumi looked at her friend in disbelief. "He was upset because he told you to go with them and you did?" "I guess so. He doesn't even talk to me!"
The tall blonde gave her a "I've told you that he isn't good for you" kind of look. "You shouldn't have moved in with him. Now you get to see him every day."
"It's not like we'll never talk to each other again. We will work this out." Yumi sighted. Her friend's always the one that wants to work things out when the other part has already given up. "Whatever you say, sweetheart. Now, let's eat. I think the food's ready."
Suzumi laughed at the sight of her friend trying to eat spaghetti with a fork and spoon. "Just roll it with your fork, Yumi. No one's watching you." "But—" "No buts, eat." "Yes, ma'am", she mumbled quietly.
