REAL LIFE!FABULA is a show that everyone knows by heart. Every kid has seen it and every adult knows it since childhood, that's how popular it is in Japan. The gameshow that evolves around celebrities has always been around and the producers know exactly what to do and who's relevant these days and who isn't.
Suzumi knew that she wouldn't like it. Being part of a show that's live on television isn't always great. Especially, since you can't avoid any uncomfortable questions, she has made this experience before in an interview.
"Ok, people, let's start", the host spoke enthusiastically. "Welcome, everyone! It's us against, Fabula. Today, we're accomplished by everyone's favorite volleyball players." The volleyball players waved their hands and gave the camera a bright smile.
"For today's challenge, we will have everyone split into pairs. While they're slicing these strawberries to make a cake, they'll tell us some embarrassing stories about their life. If you don't, you're out. The team that has made the best cake wins." Suzumi heard them sight. It wasn't surprising them but still, they didn't want to loose and tell these stories.
"Our teams for today will be Hinata and Miya, Bokuto and Sakai and lastly, Kageyama and Sakusa", the host spoke again, adding a short break after every name he called.
"If everything's fine, we're starting in three, two one!" Everyone went to their assigned spot. While the first two teams were already making a mess, Suzumi and her partner were quite good at coordinating themselves and keeping the kitchen clean. They both knew what they had to do and who would do what.
While hearing the others complain about things not working out, they both kept calm and eventually things worked out for them. They even maintained to look as gorgeous as ever in that moment even though they were heavily stressed.
"Is everything alright there", Suzumi asked her significant other to check up on him. Since she didn't want to step to near, they both kept their distance. He simply gave her a thumbs up before getting back to work. They all took this competition surprisingly serious for the audience.
"And now, we're heading over to team three", the host spoke directly into the audience, "I must say, it's the most clean kitchen I have ever seen in my entire career. How did you accomplished that?" "We're having a plan and communicate with each other. It's not that hard, actually." "Yes, uhm, communication is key."
"Well", the host started, "our first question is: What is a fashion trend that you thought would look good on you but looking back you regret doing?" Sakusa raised a brow. That was the first question that they were going to ask? This'll be a long day, was the first thing that came into his mind. The curly haired man gave his partner a look but she looked as confused as he was. Cute, he thought.
