A Random Encounter

~1~ A Random Encounter in the School Library

     It's a cool, calm afternoon at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and y/n is sitting at a desk, alone, reading a book to help with school in the library. The library isn't too busy right now and there are still people passing by. y/n is sitting at the desk on the second story of the library where you can look down below and see more people on the first floor. 

     As y/n silently reads the open book in front of her, a group of a few Slytherin boys walk through the doors that are a few book cases down on the same floor. They walk in all quietly talking among themselves. y/n does not pay attention to the other people around her as she only focuses on her studies. The boys slow down a bit as they are getting more involved in their conversation together. Then one of the boys glances over at y/n. He then looks at her again while saying to his friends "hey, look who it is." One of the boys named Gregory get interested and look over. The two others boys, Draco and Vincent, don't care as they keep talking to each other. 

     "Hey, Vincent..." says Gregory as he hits Vincent with his arm. In a bothered voice Vincent says "what? Can't you see I'm talking?" Draco watches what's going on. Then Gregory walks closer to y/n and says "hey, you! We've seen you reading in the library! What are you even reading?" y/n glances over hoping that he isn't talking to her because she only wants to focus on her studying right now. She looks again after realizing he is talking to her. "Huh?" y/n looks at him confused. The other boys watch what their friend, Gregory is doing. Gregory then snatches the book from y/n and she says in a disturbed tone "hey!" He then throws the book across the desk, back at her. "Ugh, never mind. It's just boring educational stuff." The three other boys in the back start walking closer towards Gregory. Then he says "what are you even reading this stuff for?" "To assist my studies." says y/n. 

     Then another boy in the group, with platinum blonde hair, in the group steps forward. He is really handsome and well known in Hogwarts. "What's your name?" says the boy, Draco Malfoy. "y/n" she says. "Hm." then he asks "What year are you in?" "Year 5" says y/n. Then Draco says "Oh, so are we." Gregory chimes in "I knew I have seen you around here before." As y/n wonders why the guys who seemed so mean are now having a conversation with her. "You have a... beautiful name. I like it." says Draco unexpectedly. "Hey why don't you take a break from your studies and hang out with us?" There's a short pause. "My name is Draco. Draco Malfoy." y/n scoffs, "and why would I want to hang out with you guys? Your friend just messed with me." "Oh, Gregory? Don't take it personally. He's just doing his own thing." says Draco. y/n starts to get mad as she does not want to deal with these guys right now and only wants to read. "Can you guys just get lost? Or I will." Draco is taken a bit by surprise as he doesn't expect y/n to say that. "You don't mean that." y/n realizes that they are not going to just leave. "Bye!" y/n quickly gets up, anticipating to pack up her stuff and move locations so she is not bothered but then the four boys come closer, looking as they are sort of surrounding her. y/n then utters feeling confusion and worry "what's happening?" "You're not going anywhere." one of them says. 

     Gregory, who messes around with people regularly, pushes y/n. She stumbles back and in an angry tone says "hey!" Draco says "you're going to come with us." y/n eyes widen and her eyebrows narrow as she glares at them. "Where?" Then one of the cute boys in the group with brown curly smirks and says something again "you'll find out". y/n stares at him "bloody hell-" Draco lets out a singular laugh and says "no need for you to use that kind of language you know." Then one of them grabs y/n by the arms and Draco says "just follow us, you won't regret it."
