Chapter 18: Camping With Rhinos (part 2)✔️✔️

Katherina's POV:

The rhinos were charging for the campsite full of innocent people.

"We've got to get those people away." I frowned. "Let's go."

They all jumped in, somehow squeezing in the back. Range Rovers may be big, but fitting four people in the back of any car is never easy. Or legal.

I took off back to the campsite, trying to gain speed so I could catch up and eventually overtake the rhinos.

The creatures broke through the tree line at the same time we did and we drove in amongst the heard, heading straight for the tents.

"We've got to get them to change direction." Danny muttered as he stared at them.

I continued to increase our speed, managing to avoid colliding with the creatures. Good thing I drove Thor and not Loki. For a start I would never fit 6 people in Loki and he wouldn't stand a chance going this fast on grass and wooded land, he would indefinitely spin out of control.

"You're insane." The woman spoke from next to me, having jumped into the front when the anomaly disappeared.

"Depends who you ask." Becker smirked.

I rolled my eyes in the rear-view mirror at him.

After a couple of strategic manoeuvres we managed to pull ahead where we only needed to over take the bull.

"They're too big!" The woman spoke.

"Well have you got a better idea?" I glared at her.

She began rooting around in her bag while I continued to pick up speed. She pulled out the device Christine had been trying to get her to explain and turned it on, pressing a few buttons.

"You told Johnson you didn't know what that was..." I glared again.

"Get me to the campsite." She demanded.

Oh hell no. She ain't ordering me, I already don't like the bitch but this is too far. She's hiding something, I know it.

"What is that thing?" I growled when I noticed something which looked like the map of anomalies light up on the screen.

"I'll explain later just take me there now."

I sighed as I slammed my foot down, taking us off ahead of the creatures and towards the campsite.

We reached the campsite in under a minute and I spun the car to face the creatures. We all piled out as the woman continued to press buttons on her device.

"You've gotta get out of here!" Danny began shouting at the people. "Get out!"

"Go, go, go!" Becker screamed as he raised his gun, Abby, Sarah and Connor also ran to help clear the area.

I didn't leave the woman, not trusting her.

She began to wonder around, a look of concentration on her face. She pointed the device in different directions, before frowning and pointing it somewhere else. The team managed to clear most of the people, sending them fleeing in every direction but the rhinos path.

Becker fired off shots into the air, causing his men to begin shooting at the rhinos who continued to close in on us. Abby's face dropped.

"No! Becker stop!" She screamed as he knelt in front of me and also began firing.
