What if Silverstream survived? Gray x Silver Feather x Crow

Chapter 8

Sorry, it took me so long to update this book or any of my books. I had a writer's block which lingered around for a few days then, for another few days I had a there day Ice Hockey camp. 

Feathertail's POV

Sunset

I took a deep breath and walked over to where her parents, Graystripe and Silverstream, were. They are sharing a pigeon. "Mother? Father? Can I talk to you in private?" I half whispered. Silverstream and Graystripe both gave me a suspicious look at me but both nodded. I let out a breath. "Okay, follow me,"  I said

At Sunning rocks

I sat down on one of the rocks, the rocks still felt warm under my paws. "So, what is it?". I took my second deep breath today and talked. "A few seasons ago I met this cat from Windclan accidentally at four trees, a-and we fell in love. Ever since that night, we've been seeking out nights to meet each other". 

I paused, studying my parent's faces. Graystripe had a faraway look like he was going back in time to an old memory.  While Silverstream's face was calm. I continued "A moon ago I realised that I was pregnant with Crowpaw's kits, so of course Cinderpelt knows this. I'm planning to run away with Crowfeather in two moons." "You tell everyone about this after me and Crowfeather after we leave, I don't want everyone to think we died, especially Windclan." "Can you tell us about where you are going to live so we can visit sometime?" Graystripe asked. I nodded "We are planning to live near Barley farm, we will get our prey there so go there first" I reapplied. Graystripe nodded, "Okay, thank you for telling us".  I nodded back "Let's head back now"

Two moons later...

Feathertail looked back at her parents, she felt the unborn kits wriggling in her belly. She felt her eyes water. I realised this would be the last time I saw my parents. I hugged them fiercely "G-goodbye" I choked. "It won't be forever" Graystripe said "Someday, we will see you again" I pulled back and stared into my parent's eyes "Goodbye I'll see you someday". Graystripe nodded "Goodbye" Silverstream looked like she would cry but managed a smile "Goodbye" She said. I finally pulled my eyes away from my parents, turned around and padded off. 

I finally got to four trees and Crowfeather was already there. We just nodded to each other and padded toward Barley's farm.

"Hi, Barley" Crowfeather said when we arrived at the farm. The spotted black and white tom looks confused "Why are you here?" Then he spotted Feathertail's round belly. "Oh okay I got you, You can come here to get some prey but I don't really like being around other cats except Ravenpaw. There is a cove nearby where you can live, I'll show". "Thanks, Barely" I said just then, a black tom with a patch of white fur on his chest appeared. Quickly, Barley told Ravenpaw, after he finished Ravenpaw nodded "I'll grab a piece of fresh-kill" "Wait a minute, why is Ravenpaw here?" I asked, confused. "Didn't he..." I trailed off. "Ravenpaw ran away with the help of Firestar and Graystripe" "Graystripe???" I exclaimed "He's my father" "Ravenpaw, Graystripe and Firestar were great friends Ravenpaw still misses them" Barley glanced at Ravenpaw bounding away "He's feeling better every day, come on, let's go"  

As Barley, me and Crowfeather were in sight of the cove Barley started to explain "There is a bunch of moss over there," He pointed with his tail to a big oak "The moss will be there in every season so you don't need to worry about that". "Go ahead, I'll get some moss" I nodded. 

When me and Crowfeather entered the cove the first thing I noticed was the space. The cove was bigger than the entrance, giving it a welcoming and comfortable presence. Just then Barley came in and dropped the bundle of moss "Thank you so much for this" I said. Crowfeather and I started to make a nest.  After a few moments after we finished Ravenpaw came in with two big mice dangling from his mussel "Wow, those mice are pretty big" Ravenpaw shrugged "Mices here are always big here. Barley and I need to go back now, see you later" "Alright see you" I said. My mouth started to water at the smell of the mouse and I realised how hungry I am. I greadly started to tuck into the mouse. "I can't believe we're doing this, "I said after I finished. "Me too, but at least we can be together," Crowfeather said. I smiled and I turned to him, his shining blue eyes always take my breath away every time I see them. I gently nuzzled him. He smiled and gently nuzzed me back and we both fell asleep in the warm sunlight.
