Authors Note:
As the title says, it is the last chapter of this book. Thank you to the viewers who read to the end. This is a very memorable moment, completing my first novel (yes it might feel short for a few of you but for me it is). And yes, since I paused My other Silverstream story and my Firestar x Spottedleaf story to finish this story faster. Now, I can continue writing them and I am SUPER EXCITED! Enjoy the last Chapter of this book ;)
Feathertail's POV
Feathertail sighed happily, looking at three bundles of fur one was a brown tabby tom another was a Silvery tabby she-cat and a spotted black and grey she-cat. Right then I heard a russel and Crowfeather came in. He dropped two thrushes on the ground "Graystripe and Silverstream brought this as a gift" He said I smiled. Crowfeather padded over and laid next to her. I drank his sent. "You know we still need to name the kits" I nodded. "Let's do that now," I said. I turned to the brown tom "He'll be Pineki- no, Pine. His fur reminds me of the bark of a pine tree" "I agree" said Crowfeather. "You can choose the name for the next kit," I said Crowfeather nodded "Okay, for the she-cat she'll be Silver after your mother" "That's perfect for her," I said, smiling. "The Spotted she-cat looks like you and Graystripe's fur colour combined so she'll be Grayfeather" Crowfeather's eyes widened "B-but" he started "I know, I know, but he'll be the cat who will prove that their parents are clan-born," I said, "They might need it one day". Crowfeather still looked surprised but he nodded "Then that's settled"
A few moons later
Pine squealed happily as he played fights with Silver. Grayfeather watched eagerly "Who will win will battle me!". They are doing a fighting tournament. Crowfeather brushed his pelt with hers as he went past "It's nearly time to sleep, you can finish your fight then sleep" "Awwww" Grayfeather said "But the winner won't battle against me" "You can do that tomorrow" Crowfeather replied "Fine" Grayfeather said.
Feathertail sighed, watching the moon rise. Pine, Silver and Grayfeather were sleeping soundly. "You need to go to sleep too," Crowfeather said "Okay," I said. I padded back into the cove Crowfeather was waiting for me inside. I laid next to him, wrapping my tail with his. "Goodnight, Feathertail," Crowfeather said "Goodnight" I replied. The last thing I thought was, "This a new chapter in my life..."
Authors note:
Wow... it's done... after one and a half months it's done... Thank you for reading to the end and no, the last few words are not a hint that there is a book 2 I thought it was nice to end it the way I intended to end it the first time. I feel a little emotional about FINALLY it's complete, my first novel is done. I am going to return to writing Spottedleaf x Firepaw and my other Silverstream story. Thank you for reading :')
