PROLOGUE

Once upon a time, long long ago... Well actually twenty years ago, Belle married Beast in front of six thousand of their closest, and most personal friends. This includes rapunzal.

You see, after she was rightfully reunited with her parents at the age of 16, she left again, three years later. But this time it was her choice. She and Eugene left to go to what is now called Auradon, leaving her parents who were ruling what used to be called Corona. Auradon is where Rapunzel met Belle. They soon became close friends due to their matching artistic personalities and love for reading. Eight years later, she and Eugene were married with Belle as her maid of honor.

Times passed and once Beast and Belle were married, instead of a honeymoon, Beast and Belle rounded up all the kingdoms and got themselves elected the king and queen of the United States of Auradon, with Rapunzel as their royal adviser and satchel. Then they rounded up all the villains, and sidekicks (the characters that some people think were the only interesting people) and threw them on an island with no magic, no wifi, and no way out, or so some thought, with a magical barrier to keep them there. This place was called the Isle of the Lost.

Four years later, rapunzel and Belle were both expecting children, Belle and Beast expecting a little boy, and Rapunzel and Eugene expecting a beautiful baby girl, with birthdays just two months apart. They had so many plans for the two. They would be best of friends, perhaps even get married and rule all of Auradon together.

Well, part of those plans came true... Ben, a tall, tan-skinned, brown-haired boy with hazel eyes, and Rayne, a young girl with, a silk-like skin tone, long medium blonde hair, similar in color and texture but much shorter than her mother's, and bright green eyes,  were inseparable. They always played together as children, giving sarcastic comebacks to each other, sure they had even a little bit of a romantic history behind them. But that was way in the past, now Ben was in a pretty committed relationship with Princess Audrey, while Rayne was freshly out of a relationship with Chad Charming. Ben and her were more like siblings than anything.

As children they often look over the the isle, seeing its gloomy atmosphere, with a gold barrier around it. "I feel bad for them, their children, I mean. Like sure their parent did horrible stuff but their children are innocent." Rayne says one day, as they are sitting on a balcony. "Y'know what? We should give them a chance in Auradon. Once I become king I'm going to tear down the barrier" Ben says looking at the isle, "Yeah right, but you think your parents are going to let you do that. It's a great idea though." she says scoffing lightly. "It doesn't matter, I'll be king, I'll make the rules," he says proudly.

I js realized how it sounds like Ben and Rayne are in love. I PROMISE THEY AREN'T, Also we're just gonna pretend that Rapunzel's hair is still blonde and long and she didn't cut it at the end of the movie...
