Authors POV
As the morning rush began to settle, the bakery door swung open, and a tall, handsome man stepped inside.
Priya looked up from the counter and recognized him instantly. Rudra was a regular customer, always polite and with a warm smile."Good morning, sir," Priya greeted him"Arna isn't here at the moment. She had to step out for a bit, but she'll be back soon. Can you wait for five minutes?"Rudra nodded, taking a seat at a corner table. "Sure, I can wait.
"Five minutes turned into fifteen, and Arna finally rushed through the door, her cheeks flushed from hurrying back.
She spotted Rudra and quickly made her way over, her face apologetic."I'm so sorry for the wait, Rudra," Arna said, slightly out of breath.
Before Rudra could respond, his manager, who had accompanied him, stood up with a sneer. "Is this how you treat your customers? Making them wait and then showing up late?"Arna's face turned red, and she bowed her head slightly. "I apologize for the delay. How can I assist you today?"
Rudra gave her a reassuring smile. "It's alright, but vidhit(his manager) how dare you cutted my words you are fiered leave" Vidhit can't say anything now because he knows it's an order...Rudra turned to Arna" I need a cake for a four-year-old boy named Yuv. Can you help with that?"
Arna nodded eagerly, pulling out a notepad. "Of course, Rudra. Can you tell me what kind of cake you'd like and any specific details?"
Rudra and Arna discussed the cake, deciding on a colorful design with Yuv's favorite cartoon characters.
As they finalized the details, Arna wrote everything down meticulously."Here's the location for the delivery," Rudra said, handing Arna a piece of paper with the address. " have it delivered by tomorrow evening."
Arna smiled, grateful for his patience. "Absolutely, sir. I'll make sure it's perfect."
Rudra looked straight in her eyes "I want it perfect ""Aghh okay sir" she replied
With a final nod, Rudra left the bakery, and Arna turned back to Priya, who had been watching the interaction closely."Let's make this cake extra special," Arna said, her determination renewed.Rudra turned around"umm your phone number "Aarna exchanged the numbers...Rudra left
As Rudra drove back to his office, he couldn't help but think about Arna. Her delicate features and the grace with which she carried herself reminded him of royalty. "Does she belong to a royal family?" he wondered. "But what is she doing in a bakery then?" He shook his head, dismissing the thoughts as mere overthinking. Still, he couldn't deny that he was fascinated by Arna's beauty and presence.
Meanwhile, back at the bakery, Priya watched Rudra leave, a dreamy look in her eyes. "He's so handsome and smart, isn't he?" she said to Arna, unable to hide her admiration.
Arna rolled her eyes good-naturedly, wiping her hands on her apron. "Yes, he is, Priya, but we know that men like him are not in our destiny. It's best not to think about them."
Priya sighed, resting her chin on her hand. "I suppose you're right. But a girl can dream, can't she?"
Arna smiled, and nodded. "Dream all you want, Priya. Just don't let it distract you from our work. We have to make a perfect cake for a little boy.
Priya stood up "show me the address he gave"
Priya took the paper and read the address. Her eyes widened in shock. "The Royal Family? The Rajputs? They ordered a cake from us?" She turned to Aarna, who looked equally stunned.
Priya said, "We have to make the perfect cake for them. What if they close our bakery if we mess up?"
Aarna took a deep breath. "They're our customers like anyone else. We'll treat them well and do our best."
Priya said, "You're going to their house tomorrow to deliver the cake."
Aarna nodded. Suddenly, her phone rang. It was Rudra. "As you are making yuv's cake I invite you for tomorrow's party and bring the cake on time ," he said. Then he hung up.
Aarna was stunned. "Wait what he invited or ordered me...Where would I get a western dress?"
Priya turned towards her. "I have a western dress. I'll lend it to you.""But what will you wear then?" Aarna asked.
"I can't," Priya replied. "My brother is in the hospital, and I have to meet him tomorrow. I wish I could go with you."
Meanwhile, in the office, Rudra was perplexed. Why had he invited Aarna? Did he want to see her again at the party? Was he captivated by her beauty, her cuteness, her simplicity, or her sweetness? He couldn't understand what was drawing him to her."

Aarna's pov
I stood in front of the royal mansion, holding the cake and wearing the bodycon dress Priya had lent me. My mother didn't know where I had gone today, and she had taunted me a lot this morning for not making breakfast again because I had been working all night. As soon as I stepped inside, I noticed that there were already a lot of people, though it seemed not everyone had arrived yet. I handed the cake to one of the employees and began to wander around the grand hall, taking in the opulence and grandeur of the place.
As the party guests began to arrive, Rudra descended the stairs. His eyes were fixed on Arna, who looked stunning in her bodycon dress. Her figure was captivating, drawing his attention entirely.
Rudra approached Arna, greeting her curtly and asking if she had made the cake well. Arna, slightly taken aback, simply replied, "I've tried my best."
As the party got underway, everyone began dancing. A few men asked Arna to join them, but she declined each invitation. Rudra watched from the sidelines.
When it was time to cut the cake, it was brought out and served. Yuv, the four-year-old, tasted it and exclaimed, "This is the best cake!" Rudra turned to him and asked, "Oh, really?" Arna smiled from behind, delighted that her cake was enjoyed.
Rudra's POV
I was enjoying the party when I noticed Neera Singhania, the sister of my rival businessman, making her way through the crowd. She was clearly interested in me, but I did my best to ignore her advances. I had no intention of encouraging her.
When my sister approached and asked why Neera was there, I was caught off guard. "I haven't invited her," I said, frustration edging my voice. My sister looked just as puzzled as I felt. I had no idea how Neera had managed to show up at my party.
The situation took a dramatic turn when Grandpa took the stage to make an announcement. To my utter shock, he wished yuv happy birthday and then started talking about arranging my marriage-specifically, with Neera. My heart sank. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. Panic set in as I imagined the prospect of being married to someone who I felt wouldn't be able to care for my grandparents properly.
Ritvi's reaction mirrored my own feelings. She immediately voiced her disapproval, saying "aree bhaiya mujhe esi bhabhi nahi chiye ye drink wgera krti dadaji ko abhi pta nahi hai shayad"
("Bro, I don't want a sister-in-law like her. She drinks and does other things. Grandpa probably doesn't know about this yet.")I shared her concerns, knowing that Neera's presence and intentions were far from what our family needed. But Grandpa was completely unaware of the turmoil he had caused. To him, this seemed like a well-intentioned match, but to me, it was a nightmare waiting to happen..........
