Nien POV

My hands were sweating with this new, overwhelming feeling. My eyelids flickered, and my breaths were uneven. Even in this air-conditioned hall, I could feel sweat spilling from my forehead. The room was filled with the gentle hum of guests chatting, the soft clinking of glasses, and the occasional murmur of a child. The scent of fresh flowers mixed with the faint aroma of polished wood, creating an almost surreal atmosphere.

The large chandelier above cast a warm, golden glow, reflecting off the polished marble floors and the ornate decorations that adorned the hall. I felt a rough touch over my skin, and it was Jungkook gripping my hand tightly. He turned me around to face him, his eyes intense and unwavering. His gaze was a mix of determination and tenderness, grounding me in the moment.

My dad, standing beside us, said in a calm, reassuring voice, "If ever you feel you can't take care of her, respectfully drop her back to me." His voice carried a weight of love and concern, resonating through the room.

Jungkook looked at my dad and bowed deeply, his voice filled with sincerity. "I promise to take care of her with all my heart. She will always be my top priority, and I will protect and cherish her for the rest of my life."

I looked at him with wide eyes, overwhelmed by his heartfelt words. A small smile appeared on my dad's face, and I felt a sense of relief and joy wash over me. Today was our wedding day. The sound of vows, bells, people murmuring, and children making a fuss surrounded us, but I was focused on admiring my handsome groom.

Jungkook looked incredibly hot in his white suit, the brooch my dad gifted him adding a touch of elegance. The suit fitted him perfectly, accentuating his broad shoulders and lean frame. His dark hair was neatly styled, and his eyes, usually so mischievous, were filled with a serious, loving intensity that took my breath away.

The room seemed to blur around us, the guests and decorations fading into the background as we exchanged our vows. I could hear the steady beat of my heart, feel the warmth of Jungkook's hand in mine, and see the promise of a future in his eyes. The applause and cheers from our family and friends filled the hall as we sealed our promises with a kiss.

We walked to the other side of the aisle, Jungkook firmly gripping my hand. Uncle John looked at us proudly, like a great dad. I knew he had pressured Jungkook into marrying me, but I believed it was destiny, not Uncle John, that had truly brought us together.

As we walked down the aisle, I took in the faces of everyone who had come to our wedding. Yubin, my best friend, was in the front row, crying her eyes out. I frowned at her; she looked a mess.

Jungkook must have noticed because he chuckled softly, his warm breath tickling my ear. His hand snaked around my waist, pulling me closer. I looked up at him, my breath catching in my throat. "Fuck," I cursed under my breath.

He tilted my chin up with a gentle touch and kissed me. My eyes closed automatically, and I melted into the kiss. It was a mix of woody cologne and the faint hint of cigarettes, a taste uniquely his. I clutched his suit tightly, not wanting the moment to end.

When he finally pulled back, he gazed into my eyes, his smile soft and affectionate. "You ready for this?" he asked, his voice a low, reassuring murmur.

I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. "Absolutely," I whispered back.

As we continued down the aisle, the guests cheered and threw flower petals, creating a magical atmosphere. Jungkook kept his arm around me, and I felt a sense of security and love that I had never known before.

Uncle John, standing at the end of the aisle, had tears in his eyes. He reached out and patted Jungkook on the back. "Take good care of her," he said, his voice thick with emotion.
