Chapter 4

Naruto's POV:

I'm laying on my bed right now. I really came to the past. But don't know what to do.

Actually, I know what to do. But I don't know where to start.

I never knew Sasuke was in so much pain.

And then, I also break up with him. I left him alone.

When I left Sasuke, he was completely helpless. No one was by his side except me. And I left him too.

Just my one misunderstand destroys Sasuke's life. That's why some people says, that misunderstand can destroy anyone.

I really hate myself for everything that happened in the future. I'm the one who killed Sasuke. I killed my own lover.

I couldn't hold back my tears anymore. I starts crying. I really want to fix everything. I want Sasuke to live a normal and peaceful life. He already suffered a lot. He doesn't deserve this. He deserves a better life.

(Next day)

I starts to open my eyes. I saw the sunlight coming through my room. My sleep also break because of the sunlight.

Last night, I cried all night. But then, I suddenly fell asleep.

Now I need to breakfast.

But first, I need to take a shower. I gets up from the bed and went to the bathroom.

After showering, I came out and got dressed. Then I make some noodles and eat. This is my favorite noodles.

Then I clean the dishes. Now I have nothing to do. So I lays down on the bed.

I let out a sigh. I have nothing to do. Everything is so boring. But I still wonder if Sasuke thought anything of what I said to him yesterday. I don't want to hurt his feelings again.

As I was thinking about these things, I heard a knock at the door.

"Who could it be?", I thought.

I got out of the bed and went to open the door. I open the door and saw Sakura.

"Hey Sakura! Suddenly here. Do you need something?", I asked. I ask it because she usually doesn't come here.

"Well, Lady Tsunade called you to her office.", she said.

I become a little confuse. Why is she calling me at this time?

"Why is she calling me? Didn't she told me that I have 3 days off?", I was so curious that I asked her.

"She didn't say much. Just tell me to call you.", she replied.

"...Okay. I'll be there by 11:00 am.", I told her.

"Okay, bye."

After Sakura left, I starts to think about why grandma call me at this time? I starts to wear my uniform. Then I left.

I reached and knocked on grandma's office door.

"Come in!"

I opens the door and saw... Sasuke. I was surprised by seeing him here.

"Hello Naruto. Sorry for calling you here at this time. I know I put you 3 days off. But it's important.", grandma explained.

What's so important? When she said important, my heart starts to beat very fast. Is it something about Sasuke? Did something happen to him? My heart starts to beat more faster as I was thinking about these things.

"W...What is it about?", I tried to ask normally and not to show my anxiety.

"Well, it's actually not that important. I just want you to go with Sasuke.", she said.

My anxiety is eased a little when grandma talks about going somewhere with Sasuke.

"Where-"

"Before you ask, I tell you, you have to go on a mission with Sasuke. Since he is going to start doing missions again. And since you two are very close, I want you to go with him.", she explained before I could ask anything.

Sasuke came to the job again. So the words I told him didn't fail.

"Okay, I'm fine with this. So where is the mission?", I asked excitedly.

I'm very happy that I'm going to do a mission with Sasuke. What's so good than this?

"You guys have to go to the (a random name) mountain. There is a forest above the mountain. There is a scroll middle of that forest. And you have to bring it.", grandma explained.

"Umm, Lady Tsunade, is that forest dangerous?", Sasuke asked.

"No, not much. But be careful. Because, there may be wild animals.", she replied to Sasuke.

"Okay, we should go now.", I said.

I just want to get out of here and want to spent time with Sasuke.

"Yeah, sure. You're dismiss."

Ahh, finally!

After that, we both came outside and starts to walk.

"Sorry.", I heard Sasuke saying.

I become shocked. Why is he apologizing?

"W-Why are you apologizing?"

"Because of me, you couldn't even spent your off days. I'm really sorry.", he apologize again.

I don't know what to say. But it is kinda cute to Sasuke apologizing.  He looks like a cute bunny while doing this. Sometimes cats too. But Sasuke is more cuter that anything in this world.

"Now stop apologizing and let's focus on our mission.", I said.

"Yeah.", Sasuke smiled.

"Cute.", I thought as always.

Then we both grabs each other's hand and starts to walk towards the gate.

Even though we have a mission to bring a scroll. But my mission is to protect Sasuke all this way. And this is my only job.
