Pretty - coco and clair clair.
I sat next to Clyde. He invited me to sit with him and his group at lunch. I looked up, a tall black haired boy with green eyes walked into the class.
Clyde yelled out at him, "Craig! Over here! I wanna introduce you to someone!" He smiled at the emerald eyed boy.
The boy supposedly named Craig walked over to me and Clyde. "This is Y/N. She's new here,"
Craig raises an eyebrow at the sight of me. Does he already not like me? He gives me a cold stare. He definitely doesn't like me...
"Y/N, Craig."
I nod, i feel nervous, somebody already doesn't like me. And I haven't even said anything yet.
"Nice to meet you, Craig." I say, I'm not gonna shake his hand.
He gives me a blank and mean gaze. Craig rolls his eyes and turns back to Clyde.
"I'm gonna sit with my cousin today." He says, walking off to another table where another boy with a blue and red hat was sitting. Craig sat right next to him.
Huh, they do look like cousins.
I turned back to look at Clyde, who said, "I guess Craig doesn't like you." He chuckles, "I'm just joking, he doesn't like people he's not familiar with."
I let out a sigh of relief. Thank god.
Clyde smiles. "He'll come around, I'm sure of it."
I smile back and turn to the front of the classroom, where the board is.
An old man that's balding and wearing a green sweater, he must be our teacher.
"Hello, class. We have a lot to do today. isn't that right, class?" He says, no one responds.
The class goes silent and i can hear a cough. It wasn't loud, but it echoed through the classroom because of how quiet it was.
"We sure do, mr. Garrison." He answers his own question. I sort of feel bad for him.
He looked around the classroom, and somehow, i just noticed he was wearing glasses the whole time.
He looked at me and squinted his eyes before giving me a friendly smile. "Class, it looks like we have a new student today. Would you like to come up and introduce yourself?"
Uh oh. He noticed me.
"Okay..." I got up from my seat and walked to the front of the class. I looked around. Everyones eyes were on me, and i felt like my legs were about to give out on me on the way to the front.
"My name's Y/N.. I've lived here my whole life. Uh- I've been homeschooled my whole life as well."
I looked up at Mr. Garrison. He saw my nervousness and gave me a sympathetic look.
"Alright, class. We must go on with class now." He let me sit back down, i still felt eyes on me, but i wasn't the center of attention anymore so i was at ease now.
Clyde smiled at me as i sat back down next to him. "You did good for being homeschooled your whole life."
What does that mean?
I just smiled back. Mr. Garrison started teaching math. I hadn't learned this while being homeschooled. I asked Clyde for help, so he helped me.
After he finished showing me how to work out the problems, he said, "and that's how it's done. You get it now?"
I nodded and let out a hum as a response.
He looked into my eyes, and chuckled. "Huh, your eyes are pretty."
"Oh thank you." I blushed just a tiny bit at his words.
I had been complimented on my features my whole life, so i got used to it.
"You're welcome." He says.
Math went smoothly, nothing bad happened, so that was good.
Now it's the end of the class period, Clyde speaks up to me before class ends.
"Hey, Y/N? Wanna hang out after school at my place?"
I nod. "Sure."
My parents will definitely be glad I'm already making friends.
A bell rings, the class period is over.
"I'll take you to your next class." He takes my hand and leads me out of the class.
