Soon after the boy left, it was time for me to go home, it was about six twenty pm. My mother would finish making dinner at six thirty.

I was two blocks away from my house, i climbed out of the tree very quickly. I landed on my legs like a cat and started to run until i reached my house.

I walked into my house, my mother was in the kitchen finishing up dinner. It was (f/f. Favorite food), i saw my dad in the living room he was watching something.

I went to go help my mom serve dinner. "I'm home mom."
"Hey, hun." I helped take the plates to the table, one for me, one for mom, and one for dad. I sat down in my usual seat at the table. My parents were on the other two sides of the table that weren't against the wall. I decided to speak up. "Mom, dad. I want to go to school." They looked up at me with shocked faces. "What!? Why?" They were a little confused as to why.

"Because i wanna meet other kids my age." I had been homeschooled since the incident. But my parents weren't sure if they wanted to let me go back to school, they were still about it. "Are you sure, (nickname)?"
"Yes." I said. Not entirely sure, but i wanna try it. I was too young to even remember what it was like. Now I'm sixteen and in tenth grade. I'm sure I'll be able to keep myself safe now, but i was a little scared too.

"Alright, then. I guess we could start sending you to school next week." My mom sighed, and let out. She had grown used to her and dad teaching me, now what was she gonna do while i was gone?

I'm pretty sure i was doing her a favor though, she hadn't been able to spend time with dad unless it was when I was outside. Which was only a little bit of time..so maybe she could ease up a bit.

I smiled at my mom and dad and started to eat my food. My parents smiled back and we continued on with dinner.
