"Mum!"... Silence, nothing but silence.
The moments past whilst the child for her humble mother's touch. The re-connection with the only thing that kept her safe. Yet the safety of the child wasn't there, how could Julie do this to her daughter? Was this to teach her a lesson or was this actually happening?
"Mummy!?".
The voice of the scared child alarmed the figure. The shadow of fear and betrayal rushed through the skeleton of the lonely girl. The reality of what was happening stopped her thoughts to just one feeling. Panic. The panic of the girl was too much the tears collided against the openly wounded cheeks of the child. What was she doing in the place?
The thing was this wasn't any ordinary place to Ava-Grace, there was no pink, only black. No dolls only sharp animate objects. Is that was she was treated like? an object? The discomfort of Ava-Grace crumbled itself upon the brain of the girl as she thought of the woman who had raised her. She was alone and petrified of the consequences of the actions performed by the shadow in her dreams. Yet this was no dream though Ava wanted to wake up beside her mother's face to smile and hug her.
This room was dark, mysterious and overall sinister.
The chuckle of a much older animal was discovered when she began to come around to her feet where she felt empowered and useless, what was the girl supposed to do, she wasn't ready or this.
People say that childhood is preserved and protected. What part of the events where protected? Nothing will ever be fully protected.
Ava-Grace never done anything to hurt a person, why was this happening to her? Did her parents hurt somebody? The thoughts decided to take over her and she began to breathe deeper and heavier. The only thing that was stopping her from running was that she didn't know where she was or where to start running. How was the girl going to get away?
Waiting for help was like waiting for rain in a drought useless and disappointing. The thought of hope was starting to deter by the second. She wasn't able to get help she had so way of sending for help. The conscience of the girl was heard "Its not your fault, everything will be fine you'll see". How could she listen to her conscience when she was lost in a building that she hasn't seen before. "Daddy I need you help me please!"
The door of the unknown place swung open. The girl ran to the other side of the never ending corridor, the door of the place was open this was her chance to escape. The panic of the girl kicked her adrenaline as she ought her way through the pain and discomfort she was feeling to set her target on freeing herself from the hell she was facing.
She had no other option but to make an effort for the chance to be free. She decided to sprint for the light. She couldn't believe what was happening, she was nearly there, nearly free, nearly...
The scream of the girl thundered through the house, the dream of freedom was snatched from her, like her mother's dream of raising a child was snatched. A male figure gripped the girl and threw her in the kitchen to lie on the ice-cold surface. Who was the man? The figure walked into the room, the suede clothing made him look old. The description of the man was hard to make out but from what she saw Ava-Grace thought he was 30 with glasses and a beard.
For a reason the screaming and crying stopped, she had a sense of security and stability when around the man. "Do you know who i am?". Ava was stunned, she looked at the man, she began to see some similar attributes between the man and herself. She began to become confused, why did she feel the emotional connection like she knew who the man was?
The room was clean and precise, everything had a place and it was neat with tremendous order. The pictures on the walls were of a woman. Not just any woman, a woman that Ava knew. She saw this particular woman on a day to day basis. How was this possible and who was the woman?
