'Just down the hall, first door on your right'
Ava opened a thick, cloud-white door to her surprise lay a room. Empty. Nothing sharp, cushioned floor, cushioned walls, cushioned roof. This is what she needed. No harm, no abuse. Safety.
The only objects that were allowed in the room was a pillow, the floors were heated so there was no need for a duvet. For the first few years Ava enjoyed the peace and the security she felt whilst in her own room, no objects, no men, no torture. Of course, the actions of that night still replayed in her mind constantly, none stop for the period she was in the institute. Even her dreams were of that night. She seemed to dwell more on the fact that she killed a person. The guilt stabbed at her everyday until she had enough.
She got over the guilt pretty easily, she started to remember the hell she was put through. Three words began to flow through her brain. 'SLUT!' 'TRAMP!' 'WHORE!' They were the names she got called at the place. Her rage began to build inside, the frustration and the anguish made her blood boil. She was not a kid anymore, Ava grew up to be a very intelligent, elegant young woman. The tip off point for her was when she looked at her stomach. There was a scar that she had never noticed before, she then had a flash back from that night and the way that the men targeted her stomach so she could not conceive a child of her own. 'You'll pay for this!'
As she was no longer considered a risk to herself or another human being Ava was in power to discharge herself when she liked. Minutes after the thought of the opportunity to reproduce being taken away from her she grabbed her belongings and ran out of the hospital as quickly as she could. This was not a good idea. She was not stable. She needed the hospital more now than ever. She herself did not know what her plans were. Her state of mind began to worry Ava herself. She didn't know what she was going to do if she ever saw those pedophiles again, but she knew that it would end their life as they knew it.
Her first thoughts were about where she was staying. Ava found the nearest phone box and raced through the yellow pages that was attached to the side of the phone box. The age read '1 room apartment to rent £200 pm.' It wasn't the prettiest of apartments but it was in a acceptable condition. She had done it, she found somewhere of her own.
